He is contracted until 2027? So going to take a pretty big bid to get him. We hold all the cards. I think Emi will stay for another full season, he moved to us, got into the Argentina squad and never looked back! At my workplace they said that if anyone wants to watch the England match they can, but need to make the time back up afterwards. I wont be watching that sleep inducing garbage, had about 2 hours sleep last night and watching boregare ball will put me into coma , hope slabhead scores an own goal and gets sent off.

Also his lack of a footballing brain (as in he cant pick out a pass when it is needed, doesn't see the runs etc) Cant fault his work rate as others have said, but he is very wasteful, is touch and control are as good as mine, and i have 2 left feet!

Purslow has been pretty close with Gerrard. from his Liverpool days, he adored the bloke. He was definitely not thinking with his head when he gave him the job, we all could see it would be a disaster. But Purslow wanted an opportunity to work with Gerrard again. Cant fault his for what he does, but needs to be told to keep his nose out of footballing matters, leave it to the pros (the owners pulled this one out the hat!) Purslow would have probably got Roy out of retirement..

Maybe that will be addressed in Jan? Emery is going to get some budget to spend, could see a couple off loaded? But the main work will be done in the summer. We dont need a full rebuild this time at least.
