As some have said, this appointment needs to be right! I dont trust Purslow to pick the right manager. Can see us ending up with a right jobber like Dyche, playing awful football with a team of cloggers (Mee would be his 1st transfer! That bloke would as welcome as a fart in a lift) There are some high caliber managers out there, but will they really come to us. Some are holding out for the expected merry go round after the world cup, Southgate will probably be available after England fail to get out of the group.....

Yep, think we are going back down this season, we look awful! Gonna be an absolute huge job for the new guy! Left it too long with Slippy, have a tough run of fixtures ahead, can't score. We look the worst team in the league!

Maybe we need to be realistic and think top name managers are out of our grasp, we are not the big club we think we are, historically yes, but recent history, we are mid to lower end fodder. That's why we get jobbers, novices etc, we might get a big name if they want one last payday, but Poch wont come here to blot his CV!

But, but, but its not about the passes (lack of) its what he brings to the team.... Mcginn is a nice bloke, cant fault that, but he is currently stealing a living as a premier league midfielder! I struggle to see what he is offering, as a midfielder you need to pass the ball.... 10 passes in 70 mins is criminal!

Yeah, who was the last manager that went onto a bigger job, its not happened in resent memory. Most of the managers we have had have not really gone onto much else (some could argue that was the caliber of the manager) We do seem to suck the life out of managers, Lambert was an up and coming manager, he aged 20 years managing us! But Poch wont risk his reputation coming here, we need a striker that knows where the goal is but for that we need a good sum spending in the Jan window, which is a basket case for signing players!
