If it were Football Manager, I'd send him on a two week holiday. He need to rest and come back refreshed for the second half of the season.

We have over achieved to be where we are. Common sense would dictate we're a top six / seven club going through a phase of evolution and incremental improvements. So, no. Were we to finish sixth now, we're not "mentally weak". We would probably be where we should be and then would use the summer to analyse, improve and progress again.

Is it usually big news? Can you give any examples? I can't recall ever seeing something like this being bf news.

Atarios own not 1% of Villa.
-
And it's now we scored our goal.

Can't believe those **** Tory bastards cancelled next summer's Transfer Window. Oh, wait...

Appreciated. Didn't know this. Consider me out. (I'm mentally weak, can't handle the pressure).

"Mentally weak" were your words. We are expected to win this, of course. However, if we don't, we're not "mentally weak". Are Man City mentally weak for drawing at home to Palace?

Fifteen wins at home in a row. Beat best two teams in the country, completely dominating the champions. Yet, "mentally weak", for being 0-0 at half time. I detest that a modicum of success does this to some fans

The Re-hashed, Back door European Super League Scandal
Don_Simon replied to danceoftheshamen's topic in Other Football
This will never, ever happen. The Premier League wouldn't allow it. German cultural expectancies would never allow it. Atletico Madrid and Seville have already ruled themselves out. Who exactly is competing in this league? -
I'm surprised someone with the username of Pongo Waring would be so quick to dismiss the history and heritage of Villa Park for a quick buck and "to better the image of Birmingham", something that is of no consequence to Villa. Each to their own.

Serious?

Just watched the video. It smacks of short term thinking. "We're doing so well now, we can't renovate fortress Villa Park whilst it's a fortress". Sweet. So the plan is then to add seats when we're shit? Or middling? Or been exceptional for a decade? The communication from the club has been so muddled for probably 18 months. It's frustrating. Heck's comment on "improving Villa Park for all sets of fans, not just one group of fans" is the diametric opposite of actions thus far. So far he and his colleagues have worked for the wealthy fan and marginalised the "normal". I'm disappointed with the news today, which is a shame.

On a scale of 1-100, 100 being maximum, one being minimum, how much of an impact do you think a redeveloped North Stand will have on "competing with the top teams"?
