Run up to playoffs, beating Albion and then Derby has to come second behind Rotterdam. Zero of what is happening now happens if that run didn't take place. Team would have been decimated and we could / would have been down there for a significant amount of time.

Probably for the reasons stated by many in the thread, incase people forget. My only point is that it's not that big of a deal. If you forget, you'll notice £50 has left your account and then get the money back when you tell them you don't want to renew. In a world full of massive problems, focussing on this tiny one seems counter-productive. Like I said, each to their own.

You do have the choice. You can choose not to renew before the auto renewal date and you can choose to cancel after the auto-renewal date.

You can cancel for free, no drama, with full refund, within 14 days of the membership being renewed. I don't understand what people are getting pissy about?

Just watched the last episode of the Sunderland 'Till I Die documentary. Fans crying. Dads with kids crying. Everyone crying. If / when we win the UECL and / or qualify for Champions League, there will be tears. Fact.

I think the polar opposite. Start fast and blow them away just doesn't seem to be Emery's style in games where fatigue may be an issue. Energy conservation, methodical build up and intelligent use of subs will be order of the day I feel.
