    I'm confused. You said "now we have players like Luiz and Martinez that feel more like Villa fans than Jack ever did". I asked if they feel more like Villa fans after Jack got smacked by bluenose, scored the winner and said it was the best day of his life. Whether it "soon changed after", or not, is irrelevant to the question. And yes, of course it's time to move on. As I said in my post, his move was best for all concerned. This doesn't mean we're not allowed to celebrate a Holte End hero and what he did for us.

    Try to avoid this thread like the plague, (the above comment that City deliberately bought our players to destabilise us demonstrates why). However, I wonder if there's even 1% of Jack who pines to come back and experience "this" Villa? He did the right thing moving to City, for him and us, and I'm sure has no regrets. Yet, this is special and I imagine what Jack hoped playing for his boyhood club would be like.

    How do you know Jack hasn't got longevity? He isn't old enough to be able to prove it yet. God didn't retire in this 20s and we can all agree, Godlike as he is, he had a few beers from time to time.
