If a pundit said Covid did us a favour and helped us stay up I think every Villa fan would agree and even Dean Smith said we used the break to our advantage to work on things. I am enjoying watching Leeds but let's remember that this is El Locos 3rd season with you. He has built a team and a way of playing. Smith has inherited Bruce's team got it promoted. Then had to buy another team to stay up then add to it to where we are now. The media giving Leeds props is fine by me they are fun. Miles better than what Sheffield Utd served up last year.

Dean Saunders used to run tirelessly and have a thing for hitting the woodwork. Ollie will be doing well to emulate him. I love his enthusiasm and that he is hard on himself. Still only played 13 at this level he is going to get better and better.

Class player always played with a smile on his face. The 90s were a fabulous time to be a Villa fan and Yorkie will always be one of my faves.

Mings is well spoken, opinionated and a great guy. I am curious if he has had a word with Jack for his off the field antics. Jack obviously is poster boy football wise but I think Mings gives us just as much with his persona. I love him and have labled him Mr Hollywood. He will only improve as he learns don't forget he has not played that many games as a CB so its a remarkable rise in a couple of years.

Our owners are savvy and although we will not match the 250k a week he could get elsewhere i am sure they will compensate him with bonuses, image rights, shirt sales and so on. He really has the world at his feet if he behaves off the pitch. Its a joy to see him on the pitch and how he has developed. We really could be building something special over the next few years and the owners know Jack is the key. -

I think it depends on the opposition. Trez is hard working but he does not offer the goal threat El-Ghazi does. Anwar has done really well considering his game time the past few months. He could get even better with a run in the team. Trez I love but he has a lower ceiling. I do not mind him having pop shots if there are no better options. Better to buy a ticket for the raffle and all that!
