    While I agree with you about parties. It was when the Government allowed families to mix at Christmas and its not just players that mix at training grounds then are we now surprised there is a mass outbreak? I think the next few weeks are going to see more games off through nobodies fault.

    Nope they had the test on Monday and carried on training until Wednesday when they got the results of the test. The whole squad was then tested again and more positive tests happened.

    I wonder if now they have Wolves to play again they can go back to hating them. Would be interesting next weekend if fans were allowed and it was another Villa hate love in like they have with blues. I mean Wolves Baggies blues all seem to see us as their rivals these days.

    Have the rules on the 25 man squad for the Premier League changed? I mean our whole squad has the virus or are isolating so I would guess Spurs and Everton are off and Man City is touch and go if we cannot train much before that game. We cannot play anyone outside if that 25 by the rules.

    To be fair to him he said they played the team they prepared all week before finding out yesterday that they will not be facing the 1st team/reserves. I guess it was the professional thing to do and I think our kids will have loved it so win win.

    Klopp was saying before the game he had spoke to Deano and all the players were OK so that's the best we could have hoped for. The game tonight was a triumph in the end and will be remembered as one the greatest Villa defeats.

    They are in a supposed bubble so safe. The issue seems to be that they have a test on a Monday but do not get results until Wednesday!!! So they have a weekend with their family who are not in any bubble and that is how it can spread. Waiting for a result for that long makes the test itself pretty pointless really.

    If the players were tested on a Monday and were found positive on a Wednesday. You would have to think they showed no symptoms. Likewise the others that tested positive with the 2nd round of tests. I am hopeful the players and staff will be OK but then I am no doctor.
