    Ever visited Eastbourne? Went to a place called Belgian Cafe there few years ago that did loads of different fantastic pots of mussels. Almost gave myself gout working through the menu.

    We should be playing 352 definitely. The amount of space Leicester and even Jay Rodriguez got in the gap between the defence and midfield is terrifying.

    I honestly don't know how Newcastle have any points at all. Every time I actually watch them they are absolutely **** crap. Credit to them for getting so many so far. Bournemouth Watford interesting for us tomorrow, dunno what best result would be. Draw is the sensible one but I think Watford win to continue Bournemouth slide could benefit us. Two grubby 1-0 wins since September for Cherries.

    We shouldn't be paying any fee if it is happening, we're solving a problem for Palace. If I was them if be stringing us along the whole window while "looking for a replacement". I assume he'd want and least a 2.5 year deal on 100k a week, that's £13m. I'd be disappointed if this is what we're coming up with but will definitely be excited that first game when he bangs a centre half out the way and knocks that first header down to Jacko.

    No Kante and Barkley ahead of Kovacic for Chelsea. Could do with them beating Burnley. They've bloody lost to everyone except us it feels like.

    It's been a disaster having him as the main striker. That's the reason we're probably going down, how we're still in the mix I don't know. Not his fault he's had no backup, not his fault he cost so much, not his fault he's just not good enough. He probably will improve but he was starting from such a low low level. Obviously it's so incredibly Villa that in his best game by a mile in a new system they would have helped him he got wiped out for the season.

    They're asking huge money for a league 1 player I believe. Something like £7m. He's a player I'd be going for ahead of Benteke.

    It's so much harder to sign PL players is what I was attempting to say. How would they approach it? Could they do better than Guilbert, Hause and McGinn for under £15m? Imagine if they did! If they try and find a player for £2m he might well be good enough but understandably struggle early in a team that's losing every week. Confidence could go and that's it, the player is ruined, too scared to play.

    Benrahma is so good. Those sorts of 6 yard goals and the ones I wasn't sure Watkins had in him when it became clear he was going through the middle this season. He'll definitely be in the Premier League by the start of 2021 season.

    Yes, I'll be interested if they come up as I said. Different teams all over the world find bargains every season, it'll be amazing if they manage to sign 3 or 4 PL quality players for well below the usual prices in one go, huge test of their setup. It'd also be interesting if it fell apart and all the players aren't good enough. What dig? Do you think they could do better than those players for 40m?

    If they come up be really interested to see how good their PL recruitment would be. They'll be doing what we just tried to do except with probably fewer overall signings. Wonder if they'll do better than Wes, Trez and Marvelous for over £40m.

    Great to hear. Would love to hear from other seasoned fans how he stands up to stars from years gone by. The game has changed so much, what was played in 1982 hardly resembles football now. You could just kick anyone you wanted to get the ball off them! Hate think what butchers would have done to Jack back then, he'd have been Gary Shaw'd into retirement at 25.
