  1. Mmm, we'll have to disagree yeah. You see he was playing shit. So people said "Bailey is playing shit".
  2. Bad Bailey was much worse than Bad Moussa. So far.

    Unai Emery

There's a video somewhere of me just after the playoff final properly losing it in the stands. That poor family.
  4. A Rogers esq shimmy round the question. If he wins the ballon d'Or next season will you say he wasn't a sensible buy because fbref has red lines inside of green lines?
  5. 100%. He's nowhere near 'Bad Bailey' levels. I'm sure he'll be ok. League has shook him up a bit I think. When he gets some confidence back into his game, he should fly.
  6. What's that got to do with him being shit tonight?
  7. The point is the same as what been in the Champions League thread. People desperately trying to be superior to each other. Social media thing I think. HOW CAN YOU NOT WANT A TROPHY, WHO REMEMBERS 4TH...NONO WE NEED TOP 4 FOR THE MONEY, HOW CAN ANYONE THINK ANYTHING DIFFERENT

    Matty Cash

His brain should be taken out and studied.
  9. Maybe we should have kept Gerrard because Ferguson came good for Utd? Another bad Diaby performance. Not sell him. Not shoot him. Not abuse. Not 'he will never come good' Merely a comment on a forum on another useless performance. It's OK to state the truth. Doesn't mean you're a better fan if you want to ignore it and pretend you're on a really high horse.
  10. Do you sometimes see a player and think, oh yes good... then you check his FBREF page, see he has some poor stats and think oh I was wrong, he's not good. ?
  11. Well us, Liverpool and West Ham could all magically go through. If it's just us then that's probably it. It's ok, we're hunting 4th.
  12. Agree. I'd also say Watkins didn't start well at all. He was scoring but not playing well at all. Disagree. Up and down. Up recently, absolutely cemented himself as #1 #3. Harrumph!! Yeah, if he got, that would be fine. I'd be happy for him. I'd be voting Konsa right now I think.
  13. Hold on friend. Take a look at my coefficient work in the Champions League thread.
  14. Correct. I will say though, if he'd played most weeks like he did against Arsenal (where he lost a poor header to Saka at the back post, luckily it went wide at 0-0) there would be no additional negative comment. Can't believe his legs that game! So much running, looked quicker than he's ever looked. He's been very good recently but can't believe the player of the season shout @Keyblade. Come on. He's not had a better season than any of Martinez, Konsa, Torres, McGinn, Luiz, Bailey, Watkins. No chance. Wouldn't be surprised if we tried to move him on. Wouldn't be surprised if we offered him a longer contract but reduced the salary.
  15. Once SFs are set it'll be easier to map out possibilities and certainties. All this % chance bollocks is coming at it wrong. I don't know where people are taking the odds from. The only place I'd ever look would be betting exchanges, even then it's not worth looking at % chances of anything when there's 100+ matches to be played. Like those shit win predictors you now see on lots of sport coverage. Oh wow, team A was 67% sure to win, but now they've conceded and they only have 28% chance. Duh. Football is a game of fine margins that's really hard to predict. We have deflected goals, players being sent off in the fifth minute and awful officials.
  16. No. Says who? Chris Heck? As if fans have to make the business choice. Trophy is a trophy.
  17. Draw is 1 each. Win is 2 for winner, 0 for loser. Pens/ET don't add anything. 4 points to be handed out across both matches regardless of any results.
  18. If they both win. We can add on... 4 points for them both winning, 2 each 2 points for them both appearing in SF 4 points because there are 4 points to be handed out during the two SF matches. Doesn't matter the results, England get 4 points 1 point for one team being in the final So two wins is as good as 11 points being plonked through the coefficient wood chipper.
  19. God what's happened to my quote there...?! It's an individual match thing. A win is the same for us as it is for City. Big old calculation hanging around the middle. Currently it's... GER 17.214 - 16.750 ENG If Arsenal and City both win tomorrow it'll be... GER 17.214 - 18.125 ENG City and Arsenal playing each other means you can project quite far ahead.
  20. That is totally believable though! Wouldn't make sense for a normal player, but it does for mavericks like Zaniolo and Bailey. Up is down, the sky is green, pigs WILL fly. What we've got in these two is excellent attitudes regardless of performance. Every time either of them speak, it's always positive, it's always wanting to improve, it's always team first. I totally gave up on Bailey this year - he's since shown he could reach a level I didn't think possible. Really hope Zaniolo does the same and fires us to that 4th spot.
