I liked @OutByEaster?'s suggestion of opening the first team gym to members. It costs £100m a year, roll up, roll up. About as legitimate as Spurs hosting NFL games and claiming money they make towards their FFP.

I know the high line works. Anyone that doesn't think it works is wrong. It's a good thing. We catch everyone offside constantly. I still fear sides like Forest having really quick forwards with that much space to run into. We'll have to score more than one I think.

They're really bad. It's so so poor we lost twice to them. That sit back and counter is only sustainable if the sitting back restricts the other team's chances. Utd concede loads and loads and loads of high quality 'should score' chances. Fairly confident INEOS will biff off Ten Hag. Hope he stays there.

No I didn't. Yes it has. We voted for it last season. It's on the shirt at the moment. Didn't say they weren't. ??? Are you saying if you don't want expensive tickets you don't want European football? Please don't say that. It's very silly. Yes they will. Ticket sales make up around 10% of our revenue just so you know. Probably 5-7% if we qualify for Champions League. These cushy jobs sound interesting. Is that what you do for a living?

Yeah, but bearing in mind the various issues seen so far, is this guy the right guy? That's the question that needs answering. We'll see. Not a good start. What on earth does this mean? I'll judge him on everything at Villa off the pitch, because he's the CEO. It's been an absolute shit show this season IMO. Communication with fans being non-existent/dishonest is not the way to work. Whacking up ticket prices 50-150% isn't some genius move only a clever-clogs business man thinks of. If other areas of the club don't improve I'm sure we can find someone in the world who could sign off on that, and not **** up a badge consultation and upset various fan groups. Unai doing an incredible job doesn't let others off.

Agree. He'd be in with a great chance of golden boot. But it's good they've been taken off him in a sensible manner. For whatever reason, they were no good for him. He's since signed a new contract and is verbally fellated by our best manager in forever even when he struggles.

The performances were the exact reason for concern - there was no random reactionary panic. We played not-badly twice in two months. One was Sheff Utd and the other was a loss to Man Utd. Loads of caveats of course, but we deserved the results we got. Don't think we were great today but it was not bad at all and we did deserve the win. Had some smelly decisions to deal with as well. Pau's composure spreads confidence which should help us going forward. It'll take more years of Unai before my natural villa pessimism is eradicated.

He's a talented attacking player who you reall want next to you in the trenches when the going gets tough. Incredible buy from Bologna for around £2m. He's their McGinn!

Wonder if we'll be in the mix for Lewis Ferguson from Bologna. He's gone there from Aberdeen and shone. Plenty of big names supposedly interested. Be a good option for a few roles in midfield, but suits the attacking roles a bit better.
