    Daft tweet. Not all youth players are of the same level. There's frustration when we're selling Philogene to sign Zaniolo...and then also sign a player who hasn't shone as much in the Championship for £8-15m. That's about it. Tim stuff irrelevant. Be surprised if he starts more than three times in the league, but he should see a jump in minutes.

    Well. He's clearly ending up with a decent PL contract at some point. Either here or elsewhere. Any buyback would obviously be no good if someone came and signed him off Hull. I'd strongly suspect, they have to flag to us if an offer is made they're going to accept. Doing exactly what he needs to in the Championship. Dismissing it.

    7th, 8th, probably yeah. But who cares, it's all about Champions League. Not getting UCL from 2nd at Christmas (would have been top if we could beat Sheffield Utd at home) is a disaster. A morale sapping, future changing disaster. And it'll be tough to get 1.5 points a game with no Kamara and Konsa.

    Could be. I'm panicked. Will be delighted to be wrong Players pointing fingers at each other after FT yesterday. That hurt them as much as it hurt us. We should win the next three...but we've played well once in two months. And we lost that game. You could include Sheff Utd away I suppose, but there's not much point. Fulham will think they can beat us.

    Incredible confidence. We've played well once in two months. And lost that game. Obviously hope you're right. 7th/8th more likely than 5th right now IMO. Absolutely we have to take it! Good grief. The conference league has the same number of games as UCL, we'd be fine. It wouldn't be 'more' strain than this season where we've been incredible and finally hit a bump in December with performance and injury issues. There's nothing to say we'll be anywhere near it in the next few years if we don't gobble up that income now. Will Utd be one of the worst sides in the league for half the season? Will Chelsea? Will Newcastle and Brighton? The competition is insane. The funny thing is finishing 8th or 9th actually gives sides an advantage with having a crack at top 4 with fewer games. I'd need to check figures, but I bet it's more profitable to go UCL, no Europe, UCL, no europe than....conference league, conference league, europa league, conference league. Not getting Champions league this season would really sting. And put a pause on this rocket ship progress under Emery.

    First time he's turned up in weeks and he's made himself a target with that little dance. It was funny, I don't care particularly, but we lost the game so he's going to be mocked. Noticed the team, especially McGinn were hunting the win and rushing him back to kick off when Doug was continuing the celebration on the floor. More performances Doug and you can dance all you want.
