  1. They have put ticket incentives on to help them to get to the sell out. 1,000 free tickets for children’s charities and schools Tickets 4 Teams Youth Team Managers/Coaches or Club Secretaries of local youth teams - boys and girls - can buy a Tickets 4 Teams package which covers three adults and 15 children for £90 at a Men’s game, starting with Sunderland The Club are giving the ‘Gift of Blues’ to our Platinum and Gold Members who travel 1,000s of miles each season to cheer on the team These fans can buy up to two tickets for family and friends at £10 for an adult and £3 for a child Working with big local employers, the essential services, and local universities Blues have created partnership packages that enable them to offer their employees and students Blues tickets for the hosting of Sunderland at a reduced price The game is now Category B, instead of Category A. This makes it more affordable and accessible, with tickets now starting at £30 I'm surprised theres not a category where you can trade in 10 Nectar points or a couple of Tesco points in as well
  2. Even Chris Heck? You're right though, it's still progress and the meltdown on here is extraordinary.
  3. tbf one game is all we normally get in the FA Cup
  4. tbh i was sceptical when i first read it as this day and age you jusy don't know, but, with your knowledge of the club, staff, fans etc.... .....there's no smoke without fire regardless of any stance on the badge, NS etc this is clearly very disappointing and damaging. I fear it's going to get worse before it get's better
  5. fantastic news amongst all the recent doom and gloom doing the rounds on here...
  6. Yes, it's ridiculous and kind of makes a mockery of things. It's no wonder there are so many willing to take there chances with the big money involved.
  7. spotted on FB Fantastic. When the Holte was the Holte, no crappy middle dividing gap/line that effectively turned it into two areas. EDIT: state of the pitch, nothing like the carpets they play on these days.
  8. Jeez i'm shocked, 69 that's no bloody age He was Iconic at the time with his characters on the afternoon show. Mr Angry and Sid the Manager to name just a couple.
  9. what ever happens with this new group i hope that there's never a drummer allowed anywhere near VP. Watching the Palace game and listening the that bloody drummer is just so annoying. Create an atmosphere, yes, but shove the drum sticks right up your jacksie
  10. I appreciate It's easy for me to say and i know i might be stating the obvious, but don't beat yourself up over it. You can't do anything about whats happened in the past and it will do you no good whatsoever dwelling on it.
  11. I've gone down the ignore route but there's definitely a common theme here.... they are all tits mate

DVB MTG never mind oh dear hello hello thoughts or any better ideas... subtle ones....not f off you've lost again or your'e a stain on the name of the City or shite again....and and and
  13. The melt down on here about Unai by some posters is truly remarkable. UE is the best manager this club has had in donkey's years. But, as with any manager, does he get everything right? no of course not. We have come so far in such a short time with a smallish squad. It's quite remarkable to be where we are. He's been here in just over a year and we've had a fantastic year of watching good football, great results etc and now we find ourselves in the top 6. We could only have dreamt that at the start of the season. Arguably with the players, squad, injuries etc we are, and have been, punching above our weight to get where we are. I can only assume that some of the comments on here are borne from frustration, a lack of football knowledge or just trolling for effect. What UE has achieved in the time he's been here is nothing short of fantastic. In my opinion, this level of form is just a short term blip. We were not bad today, far from it. If we'd have come away with a draw people on here would have been playing a different tune. Our decision making in the final third was poor today, It's the fine margins. We are still in a terrific position and between now and the end of the season we will win a lot more matches than we lose. UE was appointed on the 24th Oct 2023......he needs far more time, more transfer windows to change personnel. Yes it's frustrating of course it is, but stick with him, back him and we'll be fine. Keep the faith.....UTV
  14. The blokes a clearing in the woods and can’t contain himself. it’s inevitable that a fan of a club they are commenting on will show natural bias. The true and natural personality's come out. Lee Hendrie does it. It just happens Sky or any other tv company should make sure that the co commentators are neutral.
  15. I think that’s what I kind of said.
  16. You don't become a bad player over night. He was good at dirty Leeds and maybe that was his level, but he was very good. I think it's a classic example of a player making the wrong move. Some players fit at certain clubs. Everybody, apart from Phillips, thought moving to 115 rule breakers City was the wrong move and thats been proven. There's still a good player there, he just needs to find the right club, play regularly, get his confidence back and become the good player he is.
  17. well why not say that then? A player who the best team in the country and arguably in the world decided to sign him is all of a sudden a pile of poo? A player who at one time we were linked with and many on here would have been more than happy to sign him. He's a very good player who to me has just lost some confidence from his experience at Man City. As iv'e said in a previous post, West Ham have a fair few players who are worse than Phillips imo.
  18. you ok? whats the point of posting a repeat post? very insightful of you
  19. getting in great positions but then making the wrong decisions
  20. exactly this. People moaning about the defence but are completely overlooking that the midfield have given them no protection whatsoever in recent games.
  21. possibly, but they've got a fair few worse players than Phillips on their books
