  1. I don't think anyone really thinks he'll outscore Haaland or Kane, they are just naturally better finishers and hit the ball "cleaner" than Ollie does, more regularly. But when it comes to "all round play" and "who does more for your team" (other than score shit loads of goals, which is pretty handy), then you'd choose Ollie. I don't think he'll ever be a 25+ season striker, but we don't need him to be. 15+ with 5-10 assists is more than good enough!
  2. The face of the people who "like" the Kenneth Williams picture with the following comment; Grow up!
  3. My face when I see the search return for "cock gobblers forum"
  4. Brilliant player, keep him at all costs. He has to play a little more conservatively when Kamara is out, and that just means you take a little of his flair away. Still a good player, but he's not going to be able to affect attacking as much without his insurance policy behind him. We'll be in 4 major tournaments next season, we need as many quality players as we can get to go deep into 3 tournaments.
  5. One of Eze, Olise or Semenyo (from Bournemouth) please. I think we're 4 good signings away from a title run, when you think we've got Emi B, Tyrone, Ramsey, Kamara coming back sometime next season. A quality RB so we can keep Esri at CB and challenge Cashy. It would take another worldie season, against freak FC, but we'd be in the challenge.
  6. **** off Lescott, you bowling ball headed freak
  7. Not seen the game, but seen he didn't score. I'm just going to assume he's already on the beach in Dubai and he can't be arsed anymore.
  8. Yea yea yea, good player... Anyway.. why have I not seen an otter gif for 2 pages? Let'sfocus on what's important here
  9. Those are rookie numbers. My dad still has a bottle of daddy's brown sauce from 1993.
  10. How are we intimidated when we've been knocking it around the back for 30 mins? Forward passes haven't presented themselves, so we've not taken chances. We now have a half of football to play at 0-0. Intimidated
  11. Played alright, they're not baiting into our trap and this feels like the Arsenal game. Think that's part of our plan to see how they turn up and pick our way through if possible. If not? Just be patient and hit them like we did against arsenal. Apart from the goal, we've been fine.
  12. Shots fired (you'll have to click on the Motherwell Tweet to see why John has put this).
  13. Yea, me and your missus were happy with that extra 20 mins!!!!!!!! Just jokes innit. I wouldn't touch her with yours.. another joke.
  14. Your favourite thing to do was running. So wind your neck in, Forest Gump
  15. Thought it was very telling the stadium was 75% empty when the whistle blew, that's the kind of thing that sticks with you as a player. They're so close to winning a title and yet the first sign of adversity and the fans down tools and leave. I'd like to think Villa fans would still be backing the squad having got this far.
  16. The perfect home performance vs the perfect away performance. Against, City though (without Rodri, shame they don't have any good subs ) we dominated for 90 mins, to the point where Haaland had two relatively saveable shots in the 20th min, and that was is it. Zero, zilch, nothing. Man City have 100+ financial legal issues, meaning this collective team of quality players shouldn't even be on the same pitch together and we made them look like the Dog & Duck under 10s. I was also incredibly impressed with the 3-0 vs Newcastle last year, and we absolutely battered them too. The only reason this is a question is because we - somehow - only scored 1 verses City. It could have been 4/5. City for me.
  17. I really have a lot of time for Digne. People wanted him gone in the summer because of money. He's had to have time on the bench because of Moreno coming in and looking a little flashier, but he's come back in and made LB his own. Isn't wonderful having two legitimately good players competing for places?! He deserved his assist and I love his attitude. Worth every penny of his contract.
  18. I went down there with my lad and his mate thinking we'd see 810-4 beaten and we'd just got in after we declared Saw 2 wickets, but I think if we hadn't have declared when we did, we wouldn't have a chance at winning. The wicket we're playing on is so far over the pitch, getting 4s is really easy and if you bat towards the Hollies, you can run 3 pretty safely. It feels like a draw kind of game!
  19. imagine how long he'd have been sat in his bats,.just to face a few balls for 5 mins
  20. Alex Davies is really good and has been for some time tbh, surprised you've not heard of him! Came from Lancs I think, wicketkeeper batsman.
  21. My lad loves Grey Nicholls (Because of Sam Hain and Harry Brook), but Kookaburra are doing really decent, entry level bats/equipment that seem popular. GM are good, New Balance sponsor Root and they're pretty good too. Lots of smaller manufacturers of things too, like H&M (I think!) and a local one for Worcester which I can't remember. Anyway, the reason I pulled this back up was to say YOU BEARS!!!
  22. I use cruise control when I fancy a nap. It's tiring on A roads and motorways, and a bit boring.
  23. Like @GeorgeVilla82 said, its a balance. Your entire day, is not a typical day for a working adult. My day is up at 6.30/7, kids downstairs, breakfast, dressed, make lunches (if I've not done it the night before), school bags sorted, teethbrushed and get myself ready for work. Finish work at 5, go pick up from afterschool club, back home around 5.30. Make them dinner because they're hungry. If I don't want to do fish fingers again, then it takes longer to prep/cook everything. Dinner usually served for 6-6.30pm. They are slow eaters, finish anywhere between 7-7.15pm. 4 year olds bedtime, go upstairs, get ready for bed, read 2 stories and downstairs for 8pm. 9 year goes up when I go down, usually a bit of reading with him for 15-20 mins, leave him at 8.30-8.45. Meanwhile, my wife has made our dinner and I eat around 8.30-9pm everyday - way too late and not entirely practical. So yea, my kids usually want to watch TV or play their Switch/Tablet or PS5 whilst they're waiting around for those things to be done. So they probably have 1.5-2hrs of screen time per day. Weekend we're always out doing something, so not much screen time on weekends. I very much look forward to the days where I get more time, but with things the way they are - costs for everything from after school clubs etc etc etc etc - we don't and we work full time. What I'm saying is, is don't judge too harshly, because there are reasons for the increased TV time and its not usually the parents fault, its a lack of time. I'd like to know what your family structure was when your daughter was a child - both working full time? If not, how did you achieve the day you listed with her?
