  1. Matt Cash is fine. Yea he's a bit frustrating with how safe he generally plays, but even if he passes square or backwards, at least he's not giving the ball away. I understand it's annoying when moves seem to break down because of him, but there are lots of examples of that being the case with the rest of the team. I'd argue we waste more time with the ball at Emi Martinez's feet, waiting for a low block team to press him, than Matt Cash does passing the way he does.
  2. It might be worth putting a tenner on anytime they play an ex villa forward/midfielder. They always seem to score against them
  3. Hard to imagine he could hear all 12 of the away fans, but these are finely tuned athletes I guess.
  4. He was absolutely brilliant last night and Youri should have played him in for what would have been a relatively simple finish from 15 yards. That said, was noone else really **** off that he didn't take his chipped shot against the post (that mcginn finished) AROUND the keeper? The keeper was 15 yards off his line and Ollie should have just had a touch and finish. Very critical I know, but that's the kind of thing that gets you 20 goals
  5. It's his passing through the defensive lines which hurt teams. He could be our KDB, albeit without quite as much mobility. But the way he can hit a ball and know the weight of pass required is his skill set. Also full of little flicks around corners and nutmegs as we saw last night. If we use him correctly, he's an extremely good asset for us.
  6. A great selection for the game "do you know what the definition of "slack" is?". Not quite as bad as slicing your nut sack on a razor blade and being put in a vat of lemonade, but still.. Uncomfortable.
  7. Much like his trumpet playing, he's late to join in (I imagine this is super insulting to a person who plays in a band or whatever, I dunno, I don't play anything other than my own skin flute)
  8. He was a frustrating player for me! He's got obvious talent and a touch many would die for, but his decision making would drive me up the wall if I played with him I suppose that's what makes him who he is though, and his mini-highlights reel is a corker! It was fun watching him though, not many dull moments and Villarreal seems like a good club for him, might meet them in Europe soon
  9. The word removed was 1 when I joined this forum. Nah nah, something is wrong here, I'm not old!
  10. Season 3, episode 47; Cricket- makes me well-up bad ways. (My son's in Worcs Academy and I see a lot of him in it).
  11. Was thinking of buying the car park where the Führerbunker was and rebuilding it from scratch. Might conquer those pussies in France and Poland whilst I'm at it. At least I'll know @StefanAVFC can't get anywhere away from his house quickly too, what with the pickle he's in with his road. Muahaha.
  12. I wonder if he knows Bluey?
  13. I think we need to learn that teams know if they press us, we can use our pivot to bypass their midfield, but if they lose a low block, we're not cute enough with our movement to break teams down. We seem a bit pedestrian when we have the ball, which leads to frustration because we're thinking "have a go then". I knew it would be a hard game tonight, but the set pieces is something I didn't suspect. I imagine the set piece man will be looking at that.
  14. That guy sounds funny.. who was it again? I'll have to look him up.
  15. He wishes he was that young.
  16. Same. He's good, but not great. He's big and strong, but not particularly quick. I'd say his game intelligence probably takes him above most midtable defenders, but he's nothing compared to Staam, Rio, Terry. I see him more in the realm of Skrtle type good.
  17. You can afford that, but not a road?! **** offfffffffffff
  18. Tim Hortons Vanilla Latte is criminally good. I don't want to know what goes in it, but every sip is like a thousand cuddles from a group of fairies.
  19. You know her from Longbridge too? Dirty boy.
  20. Going to Nuremberg for any rallies soon, Alex?????
  21. On a day where it seems football fans can't sit in opposite sections of a stadium without injuring each other and innocents around them, the cricketing family show them how it's done. Well done England, a brilliant test match.
  22. Windies looking good! This is great to see
  23. I hold your opinion and comments in high regard, so if you think he's good enough, I'm happy to back him (and you).
