    Well it's in his remit to improve our finances by making the club more successful off the pitch. It doesn't bode well if we're spending £4.75 million to get out of a kit deal, scraping an infrastructure plan intended to improve match day income.... and binning off an expensive brand redesign on a whim if we're trying to close a supposed £50 million FFP gap. His performance off the field very much impacts what we're able to do on it

    Guardiola is the very definition of a checkbook manager. This will always be associated with his career and legacy. As will accusations of doping be it financially or medically. Anyone claiming him to be one of the greatest ever must, by default, look the other way at the "advantages" he's been afforded.

    As wonderful as Bailey has been this season and exceptional in recent weeks he's been objectively terrible for the majority of his time here. His uptick in form has coincided with new contract negotiations it would appear. I really hope the two aren't connected.

    It pains me to say it, but I think Gerrard would be an almost perfect appointment. Who ever follows Klopp is onto a loser. Gerrard would undoubtedly be a catastrophe but he'd be gone in 6 months and they could get someone decent in who wouldn't have to deal with all the Klopp baggage.

    Check to see any reason to disallow a goal. Ball taken miles from where the kick was given. VAR had every right to get involved.
