  1. Missed the game... What was Arteta up to at the end to get the " he's a prick" comments....
  2. As wonderful as Bailey has been this season and exceptional in recent weeks he's been objectively terrible for the majority of his time here. His uptick in form has coincided with new contract negotiations it would appear. I really hope the two aren't connected.
  3. Altruism is your way forward. I could with £10k to fill a financial hole I've managed to get myself into. Write me a cheque and you'll feel much better.
  4. Don't really get the fuss over us signing one of Arsenal's U21 players. What's the big deal, what an I missing?
  5. It pains me to say it, but I think Gerrard would be an almost perfect appointment. Who ever follows Klopp is onto a loser. Gerrard would undoubtedly be a catastrophe but he'd be gone in 6 months and they could get someone decent in who wouldn't have to deal with all the Klopp baggage.
  6. Did we just carry on playing through the 1st and 2nd world wars? We didn't...... The club is 150 years old. The season that begins in 2024 has been designated as the anniversary season.
  7. Eh???? "I fully support you, but I don't think you're good enough"
  8. Check to see any reason to disallow a goal. Ball taken miles from where the kick was given. VAR had every right to get involved.
  9. If he's unable to find a meaningful pass why is he at the top end of the PL assists table this season?
  10. How on earth, even with VAR, did we not get a penalty after the 2 challenges on Diaby?????
  11. Jamie Redknap digging out Douglas Costa...... FML
  12. Pep is such a genius. All he's had to do is assemble a group of players each of which is arguably the best in their position in Europe. How does he keep doing it whilst at the the richest club in the country he's working in. He's changed the game....
  13. Absolutely don't want this to happen but realistically who's got £120 million to spend without breaking FFP?
  14. There's way more nuance in lots of Rugby decisions than you seem to think, it's very similar to football in many regards. The respect of refs in rugby comes from the fact they explain their decisions constantly. That fundamentally does not happen in football at all levels. This is where the frustration is born from and the lack of respect. Football refs don't ever need to justify their actions which is why it's so annoying when decisions are given against you. When you ask why a decision was made many times a player is simply waved away.... That's not respect. If refs want to be respected in football they need to earn it. Unfortunately they are not required to.
  15. Maybe that would be motivation for the refs to get better. The protection they get is ridiculous. Never have to explain themselves, VAR mates covering for them.... bollocks the lot of them.

  17. He's been the bit part player since he signed. Originally playing on the left side every now and then while Ramsey was out. Then on the right as an alternative option. Started occasionally but always doing a competent job. Recently he's scored a couple of very important goals. Don't understand the push back on him. If we do sign him permanently it'll cost relative peanuts at £22 million. No issues.
  18. Some gooners calling for Arteta to be sacked. Saying he's spent millions and has nothing to show for it.
