So my boss who is a fulham season ticket holder is convinced that Anguissa is coming to us after he was left out of their squad on the weekend and apparently that's what all their ITK people are saying (although a late bid from Arsenal is being rumoured). I thought this might have been a decent signing for DM, but my boss tells me that he isn't suited to that role and he is far more attacking. Did everyone else realise that or was it just me that thought he was a DM?

Really hope he is fit and ready for the watford game. Those first few games are winnable and would get the ball rolling nicely. We don't want to drop points against teams that we will look at towards the end of the season and say "how did we not bear them?!"

Expectations for me should be a top half finish with a decent run in both cups. We aren't going to get champions league and shouldn't be fighting off relegation so there is no reason not to go strong in the cups. As for wants rather than expectations, I'd be really happy if we could get top 8 and get to at least the quarter finals in the FA cup and the semi final/final of the league cup (but realise that completely depends on the draws).

Good to see bogarde getting a test against better opposition today. It feels like Smith obviously rates him as he is giving him another run out. I wonder if Smith has plans that he will be our 4th choice cb this year? Or maybe he is seeing if he is ready to be loaned out for the season.

Would Emi not help with this? we now have some one who could play a longer ball which wouldn't necessarily be hit and hope? Even if that first ball is initially played into Watkins, I'm assuming that Bailey would then have the pace to break out quickly to join in the attack and potentially help create a 2v2 or overload attack? It might also be part of a bigger picture plan of where we want to break out quicker hence why someone like Sanson has also been brought in, its just Dean and the guys haven't maybe felt we've had enough players with the right attributes to make it works yet? I'm not saying it is, I'm just trying to see how all the pieces in the puzzle fit together

From what I can see from Bailey (and I know very little about him admittedly), it seems he would really compliment Jack and Emi in the midfield. It would give us three different ways of creating chances and opening teams up Jack - can dribble and create things out of nothing Emi - can thread a pass through the eye of a needle Bailey - Has raw pace which will keep teams either sitting deeper or will allow him space to exploit it. Is that how others are seeing it? It seems to make sense in that regard to me.

I put a new extension on my house and struggled to get any internet in it. The Tv kept disconnecting from the Wifi and my phone would keep dropping out from it too. I put in two TP-link Deco M5's (1 in the router and one plugged in, in the extension) and its solved everything! I couldn't be happier with it. It took me about 5 minutes in total to set up too which was a bonus. You can also just keep adding to it too, so if you need a few more its dead easy to add on.

I'd counter that with we haven't been playing the same sort of football we were in the first 10 games before they both got injured, so I disagree with you there that that's the reason why

Something has changed the last month or so, we don't seem to be playing the same exciting way we used to. Tonight Emi was outstanding, the back 4 was good and I think dougie was ok. The rest were poor. I think that's possible the worst game I've seen from our forward thinking players. Jack was none existant and I think he is suffering a little bit now teams are doubling up on him.

Not managed to get going yet. Haven't got on the ball at all yet

It makes you wonder about some of the refereeing decisions this season. How can that be given as a penalty to man city when we didnt get the penalty against brighton at home?!

Weve just not been at the races tonight . I think it just shows where we are on our journey. Some games we are going to be outstanding and some, like tonight we are going to struggle.
