  1. I've had it on my N4 for ages and I agree, it's excellent. Been banging on about it on here too.
  2. Mate has Netflix working just fine on his Chromebook.
  3. I used to do the same as P3te when cold calling, apart from the ripping off the customer bit.
  4. Just got KitKat on my N4. I've switched from dalvik to ART. Some nice features in KK...
  5. I feel your pain villa89. My diagnosis was 'depression and dysthymia' - not a fun combination. I was once asked by a therapist, "What gives you joy?" I realised that the answer was, "Nothing. Ever."
  6. It's an Aston Villa fans' forum. All of us are by definition just a hair's breadth away from pure insanity. Or as I prefer to call it, 'On Topic' Anyway, I've had depression for years, was hospitalised twice and yeah, it's shit. Situation not helped by the DSS and me continually **** things up. DSS because they're crap, and me because I'm ill. Haven't had any benefit since the end of July, which, funnily enough doesn't help my mood and increases my isolation. You sorry bastards are sometimes the only two way communication I have. So if you don't respond to my posts I will be ill and it will be ALL YOUR FAULT. Possibly.
  7. Mate was going to pay for me to visit him in Norway, but me passport got nicked and I can't afford to replace it. Humbug. May end up on me lonesome in Hackney.
  8. Cheers darren. Done that. Harrumph.

    Bitcoin

And now it's down to $530 *shrug*
  10. Right, this is doing my nut in. I'm looking for a way to find out what is causing the wifi issues and attempt to solve them. Essentially the wifi keeps dying - it thinks it's up and I can connect to it, but various computers get timeouts even though the connection is 'good' - macs, windows all have probs I have me android wifi scanner but it only gives basic info. Any tools you guys can recommend to help me diagnose what's interfering with the signal, or if it's a router issue... Please!

    Damp Advice

Smetrov, you need to stop showering or bathing.
  12. Just thought I'd throw this one in here... Petra Boynton has an advice column in the Torygraph. She is a social psychologist lecturing in International Health Care at University College London. She has a PhD in Applied Human Psychology - her thesis evaluated research on the impact of pornography on attitudes and behaviour. Petra researches sex and relationships worldwide. It's the only one I've ever read where the agony aunt is actually qualified to give advice, as opposed to being qualified by virtue of being, for example, a fit bird with big tits..
  13. Roberto and Juliano, you can both **** right off.
  14. Yesterday I met up with some people that I hadn't seen for ages. They said I'd lost weight. ATOS diet ftw.
  15. All we had at home when I was a kid was military marching bands. Anyway, Abba are fantastic on so many levels. The songwriting, harmonies and general production are gold standard.
  16. Here's my list, in no particular order: Jimmy Somerville Martin Freeman Chesney Hawkes (Everyone down the Handsworth Central used to know me as 'Ches') Simon Pegg George V
  17. Have a look on AVforums. You'll find loads of knowledgeable people on there. FWIW I have 5.1 and it's ace. Soundbars are a compromise.
  18. Someone's selling a Nexus One on there for £126. WTAF?
  19. No, the upgraded one came out a few months ago. Just make sure you get the new version.
  20. Tauntaun? And I thought you smelled bad... on the outside.
  21. This is a link to an old newsgroup posting from 1996. I really hope this guy got his problem sorted out. Anyone help this guy?
  22. I just watched a clip of Rachel Riley dancing to 'Johnny got a Boom Boom' on Strictly Come Dancing (only because of the music, mind). Forewarned that RIley would be wearing trousers, I was curious, but... What a fantastic arse. That is all.

    Windows 8

Windows 8 without a touchscreen is completely daft. It's made for touchscreens so you cannot criticise the metro experience on non touchscreen devices. Makes no sense. I'm not criticising the metro experience at all, mainly because I don't use it. If they'd launched windows 8.1 as the first version and said, "We've redesigned the start menu to make it touch friendly" people would've responded to it much better I reckon. As it was, all people could see was the metro interface which freaked them out. The reason we have it at work was because we had all kinds of machines with varying versions of vista and xp on them. Microsoft did the offer for an upgrade to win8 pro for £25 a pop. No brainer.
