    Given his age, nationality, current form and contract status, his market value has to be £150+ now. Probably only four clubs could realistically afford that - MCFC, PSG, Barca and Real Madrid. Perhaps Chelsea or MUFC too, but there is no guarantee of them being in the UCL in the seasons ahead - which would be the major motivation for Jack to leave his boyhood club.

    Ridiculous that international matches are being played, let alone 3 of them in a week. I anticipate some tired players for this one. Luckily there will be 9 days gap until the next match against West Ham.

    Luckily we had our "dreaded second season" in our first one.

    I'd go for a quality Striker and then send Wesley and Davis out on loan as both of them need regular minutes. Then a CB cover and let one of House and Engels leave. Other than this it would basically be finding replacements for players that will be off in the summer MF (Hourihane); LB (Taylor); LW (El Ghazi?), but this is not urgent unless we already have an injury crisis on our hands.

    This game will set the tone for the next seven. Really need to get a result here - hopefully a victory. As others have said - Brighton are a decent side and we better not underestimate them.

    I get that there is a big drop-off after our first 12-13 players, but DS needs to find a way to rotate the squad a bit. His reliance on basically the same 11 players and not really trusting the bench is cause for concern.

    I'd rotate a few players. I see us getting a positive result. Either 1-0 win or 1-1 draw.

    My guess is that Watkins is the designated penalty taker, but Grealish wanted to take it and Watkins refused to concede. Can't imagine Jack giving up the penalty chance otherwise. Anyway, happy that Watkins took it and scored it. For his confidence, we need him regularly on the scoresheet.

    Already has half the goals he had last season (both PL and Total). Should comfortably get to double digit goals and assists just in the PL alone.

    He looked much better when he pushed up in the second half. Maybe experiment with him at the 8 and Nakamba at the 6.

    Was a big critic of his last year, but he has proven me wrong. Love his work-rate and in today's match he was key reason behind our second-half fightback. Unlucky not to score a goal. He probably had 4 quality chances.

    This is a case of the whole being worse than the parts. There are 11 good footballers on the pitch. Very frustrating.

    Knowing that the likes of Lansbury, Taylor and Elmo will be leaving this summer, I'd like to see the club line-up one or two of their eventual replacements in the January window. Bring in a loanee as well and the squad should be solid enough until the end of the season.

    Was about to post the same. The official site sure milked the Wolves U23 match stream all it could. Time to broadcast the matches ourselves.

    Will be happy with a draw. Would be progress on last season. Also a good test for our potential mid-table aspirations.

    All 26 players in our squad have a competent level of footballing ability and need to be coached-up to play a role in the team. You can't just be reliant on 12 players. This is just a small criticism of Smith across seasons, not just last night. Don't get me wrong - overall thrilled to have Smith as our coach and feel we will have a very good run this season.

    Dean needs to trust his squad. You can't be just making 1 substitute a game. Look at Leeds, they had a bunch of back-ups running us ragged. Bielsa substituted a player 20 minutes in!

    Credit to Leeds, they were outstanding. Could have been a different game if one of Grealish's chances went in. Thought we were very naïve and not prepared to counter Leeds' tactics. Maybe the reality check we needed. Now let's focus on bettering last years standing.

    Will be interesting to see what tactical adjustments Smith will make 2nd half. I feel Traore needs to come on early.
