Nothing good is easy I'm actually quite happy for Spurs to be doing well at the moment as it's taking the spot light, and associated pressure, from us. Without them we would be the big story. It's all going well for them at the moment and they're also having moments of luck when they need it but at some point they will lose a few. It's how they react to that that'll be interesting

The Tories will stagger around like a drunk man, shouting out random shit, throwing air punches and stinking of piss for a while but eventually they will sober up and shuffle back into the conversation at about the time that Labour starts to smell like a recently deceased corpse. They'll get beat, and beat well, at the next election but they'll be back.

Myself and the wife have just finished season two and are loving it. Hoping it doesn't drop off too badly at any point, US series do have a tendency to carry on way past their best.

I always think that if we do well in a kit then the design will grow on people no matter the initial response. Obviously being made out of taped up bin bags isn't ideal though.

I suspect it's more a case that, at points, Bailey does do good things where as Tielemans has yet to do anything in a Villa shirt other than stink the place out.

I'm not a great believer in the whole xG stat thing, certainly on a individual game basis. As you've stated, we were obviously the team more likely to score more goals yesterday as we created more chances, better chances and took more shots. Over the course of a run of games it can point out when you're over achieving compared to your actual performance but, in reality, doesn't tell you much more than your own eyes would tell you. It's existence probably justifies someone's job

We're very lucky having McGinn, and Mings, as our main club representatives. Both speak well, with intelligence and avoid all the usual cliche bullshit. Always happy to see McGinn's cheeky smile in an interview.

It's funny really, Unai comes in with a reputation as a great cup manager but let's be honest, we've been utter crap in our cup games. Truth is we don't have the squad to rotate, either we go full strength or we except that we won't win a cup of any sort

I'm having horrible flashbacks to the MON era when he did something similar. We lost in Europe and then got dicked in the league. I still think we'll qualify through the group stages as I don't think Unai will make as many changes for the next game -
