  1. Maybe you're correct. I suppose he then has to question whether we are better positioned to go further than Brighton are
  2. I just get the feeling with Potter, as well as loyalty, he has spent the last few years building something that has led to Brighton looking like an excellent team. I'm not sure he'll want to leave just as his hard work is really paying dividends to start a new project.
  3. I think Poch is more likely than Potter
  4. I admire you for defending the indefensible
  5. And that puts into perspective why having a turd of a manager is not the worst thing, just a temporary blip Glad things are coming together for you
  6. What an utterly depressing and terrifying thought
  7. I used to love playing snake on my Nokia
  8. If we keep Gerrard we will be in and around the relegation zone all season
  9. Sack Gerrard now, put Critchley in charge for the next couple of games and get looking for a manager. Not sure who that is but as Lampard is probably the only PL manager worse than our current one the opportunity to improve is incredible
  10. Sigh Another week, another loss. Gerrard really has not a clue what he's doing, he is possibly the stupidest manager in the 40 years I've followed the club. He needs to go and he needs to go now, no waiting, no excuses, no giving him until whatever game. He is an incompetent fool.
  11. I actually think Gerrard might be as thick as pig shit
  12. I genuinely think I could make a better fist of managing this group of players and I'm a know-nothing schmuck
  13. In fairness it's not his fault he keeps getting picked is it?
  14. So are Kamara and Luiz both sitting or is Luiz playing further up the pitch?
  15. That's quite the claim and I feel you should back it up
  16. He looks like an early 90s vampire, I'd sign him just for that
  17. I fear you're probably right
  18. Because he's not a particularly intelligent man? Because he wants to play his system no matter the personnel? Because he believes that they can improve in that area? All the above? Hopefully he can see that he's wrong and a new midfielder is on its way. Or we're screwed.
  19. Yes indeed. The thing that makes the West Ham game so important is that it is followed by Arsenal and Man City, which we are unlikely to get anything from. Win against WH and we have 6 points after 6 games. Poor but probably enough to buy Gerrard more time. Lose to the Hammers and it will probably be 3 points from six and a place in the relegation zone. Not a good look. Gerrard needs a win against West Ham
