  1. Get your own name with the number 69. Always looks ace, that.
  2. Indeed. You can see direction, a purpose to their designs. They are building an identity. That identity seems to be "a bit mental but not quite Liverpool/Warrior mental". I like macron, they're unique. Absolutely. The only bits I'd change fall under the smaller details that I'd class "they didn't need to do that". Sometimes feels a little like they've tried too hard when the rest of the shirt didn't need it. They'd done a good enough job already.
  3. There are a few bits I'd change but in the interest of professionalism I'll hold my tongue. They have a brand identity and are working within it, and doing it well. In all I think they've done a good job. Well done! I also think we haven't seen the last of the lime green effort.
  4. Good effort! Have downloaded that.
  5. Looks like his fellow countrymen have already sent him down to TK Maxx to pick up some naughty jeans.
  6. Bahahahahaha.... Wow! What the **** have I just watched, it's actually worse than the Blackburn/Venky's chicken advert which I'd deemed unbeatable until now. They've got previous...
  7. Does that mean the lion on the back of the current shirt isn't THE lion? (genuine question, I'm not being facetious) My bad - it CAN be used tonally or as an emboss (like the away kit). I was getting my FIFA and UEFA rules mixed up. For UEFA competition you can use the tonal or emboss route as detailed in article 21 here - http://www.uefa.com/MultimediaFiles/Download/Tech/uefaorg/General/01/75/63/78/1756378_DOWNLOAD.pdf For FIFA competition you are restricted in size and placement as per article 11.6 here - http://www.uefa.com/MultimediaFiles/Download/Tech/uefaorg/General/01/75/63/78/1756378_DOWNLOAD.pdf There's a little glimpse into my world for you. No wonder I'm bald...
  8. You'll notice that it's "an" eagle rather than "the" eagle. Current Fifa/Uefa legislation states that you can't use an element of an official club or federation crest in an oversized manner such as that. Unfortunately. So if we were to have something similar it would have to be a generic lion rather than "our" lion.
  9. If this was the Bollitics thread that would be the equivalent of saying David Cameron is leader of the BNP (or whatever) i.e. all politicians are the same / all drugs are the same. You're better than lazy generalisations like that Tone. Not really sure what you are saying here ?? It's a true story , of course the drugs in his system could have just been a coincidence and he could have fallen off the balcony , but somehow I doubt it I'm saying that all drugs are different. You can't just say "he was on coke or whatever", as coke wouldn't make someone think they could fly. All drugs have different effects on the body and mind and as such should be treated differently, by users and in the eyes of the law.
  10. That Mark Bridger fella, he wasn't a drug addict and he kidnapped, possibly abused, killed and burned the corpse of April Jones. Robert Mugabe, he's just a nutjob. No drug addiction involved. Some people are pre-disposed to killing, or to becoming addicted, or to rape, or to kiddy porn. They just need a trigger. That trigger may or may not be drugs.

  12. Yeah, send those sick addicts to the gas chamber Whoops, should have clarified, I was talking about 'lifestyle' drug users and not addicts, i.e. the morons popping pills at raves, or the clearings in the woods you see at your typical nightclub doing lines off the sink in the toilet. What about alcoholics? Paul McGrath? Paul Merson?
  13. I wouldn't mind that Welsh lad who scored all those goals, even if he does look a bit like a monkey.
  14. It might be if they ever won anything...
  15. Get the popcorn out - this could be interesting... http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=uG-01A_Yfdg

  17. To be fair a good chunk of them were against Brad Friedel
  18. I suspect it's a bit of both sides. You'd have to question why two players like these haven't kicked on from where they were but similarly what have the players done - or not done. I remember that goal, and in particular that pass, very well. It was then that I thought these two would be real stars. Sadly it hasn't proved to be the case. I'm not against Barry Bannan, I want him to succeed. He made a big mistake with his drink driving conviction but (nearly) everyone deserves a second chance. Sadly moments like the one against Fulham have been too few and far between. Why pick on Bannan for drink driving. I agree it was bad, but there are other football players who have had similar errors of judgement. Why only picked up on when it's Bannan? Another Villa player: I was trying to support your view that it's now largely irrelevant and shouldn't be used as a means to judge him. Feel free to ignore the sentiment and only comment, out of context, on a fraction of what I wrote though
