As far as I know all of the western world has the same conditions.IMHO there should not be any comforts ( small or otherwise ) they are incasterated because they did something wrong ( as far as belmarsh is concerned,they have done something very very wrong ) apparently that terrorist that chopped that English soldier is in there right now.What small comforts should he be allowed to enjoy ? Why does he not enjoy the same comforts his victim enjoys right now?!

Watched the second episode of "Hindmarsh prison" last night and I could not believe what I was watching.This is supposed to be the toughest prison in the UK,its for hardened crims only ( serial killers,serial rapists,terrorists,etc etc.There is a Pool table in the main hall,there is Jym equipement in the yard and the inmates have a desk,book shelds and TV in their cells,oh yes and they can buy things from the prison shop. It made me think,if this is THE toughest prison in the UK.What hapens if a prisner breaks the rules ? dose he get to miss next weeks Pool tournament,banned from keeping in shape on the exercise equipment for a week and if he is REALLY NAUGHTY, maybe he gets $10 less spending money this week. FFS,these guys never had a pool table,home jym till they went to prison.

My favourites are,Fawlty towers, ( I have the DVD ) Black Adder, ( I have the DVD ) Allo Allo ( I have the DVD ) and Alf Garner,cant think of the name of the series.

So,we had a bad day at the office ( it happens ) Im pleased with the way we played ( overall ) Kamara and Buendia both had bad days but in totally different ways.Kamara got caught with the ball and Buendia had bad luck in front of goal.With those 2 bits of bad luck reversed we could have had a very different result.

the last week its been between 38/42 digrees.Thats more than hot enough for me. I can handle up to 36 but anything over that and I get all irritable and niggley.

Here in Perth we have been having high 30s to low 40s while across the Tasman ( in New Zealand ) they have had 1.5 meters of rain in one day.They are experiancing heavy flooding and everything that brings,eg slips/land slides etc etc.

I know this thread is about "Diet and weight loss"but I have ( what I think is valuable info ) I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes about 23 years ago.I eat chocolate,biscuites,cakes in moderation but often.I am not on any medication and I dont eat any fruit at all.The only veges I eat are peas,potatoes and corn.I am healthy and fit as I play table tennis twice a week and walk for an hour every morning.The only other thing worth mentioning is that I eat raw rolled oats,with milk every morning ( its my favourite breakfist ) So,with this diet and regular exercise I am managing to keep healthy and fit.

I suppose,if it went on long enough it could cost.Luckly I went off gingernuts after about a year,too hard and the wife started drinking coffee.

How can teams like Leicester and Wet spam be at the top one season and fighting relegation a couple of seasons later ?

I used to dunk Gingernuts in my wifes cup ( dont eat gingernuts now ) saves getting crumbs in the bottom of my cup.
