i guess none of us will ever know or see what PL sees/saw in him but as a personal opinion, me being only 5ft5 myself, i remember getting bullyed off the ball by stronger lads when i used to play,, so with the premier league being the biggest league in the world, i cant see him holding his own very well

even if he doesnt turn out very good, we still might be able to sell him for more than what we paid, however, even though i havnt seen him play, id still prefer to see him in the first team over delf any day

ive said it before, im not too keen on clark staying as a permenant partner for vlaar, i think we should look for a new CB (and LB) to partner ron, somebody in the same mould and work ethic as him, like heitinga (fellow dutchman) or huth, big fan of is, always have been, hed be great for us, or dare i say it, scott dann

i like the fact that you guys are mentioning messi, the worlds greatest footballer in the same conversion as our little weimann, but lets not get carried away, lol i hope this kid comes good, he seems genuine and hard working enough, 5 to 10 goals a season for him when hes established will be a good haul for him

certainly not as good as he was at wigan, our only left winger, worth keeping as we arent going to find anything better

in all fairness, and credit where its due, dunne has been brilliant for us past few seasons, hes by no means a mellberg or laursen, but hes been up there with his work rate but as mentioned, the one thing against him is his age, but saying that, maybe theres just one more season in him?

got to admit, im also a fan of his, but hes never played absolutely amazing for us which we know he can play, he still an important part in midfield

does anyone know if dunne is back fit? if so, clark will be the best option to play at LB, if not, then just throw stevens in, cant do any worst than bennett or lichaj

im not impressed by bennett either, he really does look like a light weight, a bit like bannan, weedy, we cant have players like these in the squad i agree with needing a new left back, simon poulsen or martin olsson for me

no matter where i read news concerning villa on the internet, someone always replies with "bent will be gone in january" why is every villa fan so desperate to be right and say this? does nobody want him to stay? because i for one, do, ye ok so hes not hitting the net at the moment, but blame that on the service, or lack of db has to stay, him and gabby are the partnership, benteke will be a great super sub whilst hes still adjusting to the league im dissapointed that hes injured, and im sure PL and DB know the truth, and not what rubbish some villa fans spout, but gabby and benteke should do just fine

i like this kid, think hes got potential, id rate him above delph as a back up holding mid

he can definitely cement a spot for the next 6 years or so as our regular RB, id like to see lichaj more, but lowton defintely looks the part

tbh, i do think he needs somebody of similar quality next to him, clark is just a kid and dunnes legs arent what they used to be, although i do still rate him, id love to see someone like robert huth or heitinga next to vlaar, but i know that wont ever happen

youve got to love the scotish, living in a bubble lol celtic and rangers might be the best clubs in scotland, but they still only compare to our championship level at most, other scotland teams not even that high rangers would not be good enough for any euro league, neither celtic, although theyre slightly better
