  1. ——————Watkins—————— ———————New——————— Ramsey—Luiz—Kamara—New New——Mings—Konsa—Young ——————Martinez—————— That should be the aim for January. Beyond that, you can start looking at right back and striker.
  2. No point them ever playing for us again. Woeful players
  3. It’s a toss up as to who’s the bigger waste of money, him or Bailey. All that Grealish money, wasted. Buendia and Bailey are barely an upgrade on Trezeguet, Traore and El Ghazi. I think most people are starting to realise that.
  4. He was poor today but at least he tried to make things happen. That’s more that can be said for Bailey who was next level garbage. Im coming to the conclusion that he just won’t work here, as much as I’ve persisted with thinking he can be good for us. I still think he’s better than Buendia and Bailey but then I think they’re both rubbish too.
  5. Any side that doesn’t contain Bailey, Olsen, Augustinsson, Bednarek and Chambers. Buendia doesn’t deserve his place but will probably keep it by default. Think the penny is dropping for a lot of fans that a lot of our squad is sh*t.
  6. Not sure what’s up with this guy. He seems to have gone backwards. I’ll give him the benefit of the doubt for now but no way does he start in our best XI. Does he want to leave or something? Just seems such a different player to last season. He’s always had limitations but he’s been really bad lately.
  7. It’s this sort of arrogance that cost us our place in the next round. At any level of football, if you play a back 5 who’ve never started together, you’re going to get punished. 9 times out of 10 we win that game with the team we picked today but you run the risk of losing if you take chances with the team selection. Emery will have learnt a lot today, which is the only positive I can take. He rolled the dice with his team selection and I’m afraid it backfired.
  8. Comfortably. I didn’t think he could be any worse than he was at Fulham, but he’s topped that. You can’t play like that. You just can’t. We’d have been better off with any one of Traore, Trezeguet or El Ghazi in the side. Bailey is utter garbage.
  9. Nyland almost won us the semi final against Leicester on his own. He was truly outstanding that game. For that alone, it’s him. Olsen is f****** dreadful.
  10. What does that comment even mean? So, because we have 20 odd players, it means we should trust them, regardless of ability? Olsen has arguably cost us our place in both cup competitions this year. Why was he picked today? Why do we have two loan players who’ve hardly kicked a ball this season and who are both clearly f*****g shit, playing in a completely new back 4? I’ll praise Emery when he wins games and even if we lose some as long as we show some semblance of good play. He fu****d up today thinking he could play a makeshift back 5 and it backfired on him. It means we’re out the cup. On to the next game.
  11. Baileys excuse on here for being consistently poor is his confidence. Buendias excuse is that he needs a run of games and isn’t playing his preferred position. Both aren’t good enough and both won’t start when Ramsey and McGinn are back fit along with signing a new winger. The club haven’t signed a good wide player in years. Bailey is no better than El Ghazi, Trezeguet and Traore. Just when you think he’s turned a corner and I give him the slightest bit praise, he puts in a months worth of turgid performances. We’ll keep throwing money at it in the hope it comes good though I’m sure. We’re so poor in the transfer market.
  12. Man oh man. What, when he kept losing the ball? This discussion is moot. He won’t be here next season I shouldn’t imagine. Weak player.
  13. So once he scores he’s going to become brilliant, yeh?
  14. I’d sell him at the first sight of a decent offer
  15. Not sure if it’s ever going to work out for Bailey here. I’m so tired of his performances. At this point, and I can’t believe I’m saying this, he’s no better than Traore. Just when you think he might have turned a corner, he reverts to type.
  16. Would have liked Mings or Konsa to be playing. Other than that, fine.
  17. Good. He’ll be match fit when he arrives here then.
