  1. You’re probably right! ’Kylian, I know you’re quick, but as soon as you get the ball, pass it to the left back and hold your position’
  2. Liking him and rating him are two different things. You said in a previous post he wasn’t that good. Which is just ludicrous. He’s probably the best player on the planet and will likely to go on to break every World Cup record in the book.
  3. Haaland is fantastic and I’ve watched him a lot this season, but he isn’t as good as Mbappé. Mbappé has absolutely everything. Can you imagine him in that City team?!
  4. Amazing isn’t he. The way he slows players down and then just goes round them. It’s not just that, he’s fantastic with both feet and his end product is absolutely spot on. His crossing is fantastic. He’s amazing to watch in full stride.
  5. Was one of our better players against France. Odd take.
  6. That push on Mbappe was mad at the end wasn’t it??! Nobody seemed to mention it but it was as clear a free kick as you’ll see. Honestly, at times, I think the ref was just tossing a coin on whether something was a foul or not. Just made some really bizarre decisions albeit I don’t think he was THAT bad.
  7. Laughable isn’t it. The only argument against him is that he plays in France. Anyone saying he isn’t a top, top player is just kidding themselves. He’s unstoppable. Best player in the world for me.
  8. Yeh, ok. Fine. Maybe he wasn’t. Still doesn’t mean he isn’t an unbelievable player. Id have him over any other player in the world in my team.
  9. Agreed. They work to set systems and build a team for a few seasons to get to where they want to be. Both excellent at it. International managers aren’t usually top managers. In fact, I honestly don’t know how hard the job is. Surely 90% of it is just picking the right team? Something Southgate fails to do 99% of the time.
  10. Jobs for the lads. All pals in the setup etc. Southgate hasn’t won a trophy. It’s that simple. He needs to move over and give someone else a turn.
  11. Bizarrely, I’m less angry at him now than I was when we lost to Croatia and Italy in previous tournaments. That said, regardless of tonight’s performance which I thought was very good, he has to go. Whenever we come up against a decent side in a tournament, we lose. The only anomaly being Germany. It’s time for someone else to have a go. At best, he’ll be remembered as a manager that got fairly far in tournaments and brought some harmony to a young squad. At worst, a manager who was lacking tactically and rarely picked the right team. Personally, I lean towards the latter. I don’t rate Southgate much at all as a manager and when he does leave, he won’t do much in the game.
  12. I don’t care what your thoughts are on him, he should be starting for England, similar to the role Griezmann plays for France. I honestly think we’d have won a tournament by now with a manager that played him more.
  13. I like Digne but he lacks pace. That’s his main downfall. He’s also on 150k a week so I doubt we can buy someone else without selling him. Nobody is picking him up on those wages.
  14. Of course. But we wouldn’t have it any other way.
  15. We aren’t great at it, are we. Do you think Cash adds to that problem? Is he good enough on the ball to play out from the back or could we improve there?
  16. Yes. Have you seen Robin Olsen play? We’d play Martinez with a broken leg over him.
  17. What are our priorities in terms of position in order to improve? I’d go. Wide attacker Forward Centre back Right back
  18. My timeline is full of tweets from accounts I don’t follow. What’s with that?! This is exactly what Twitter is not supposed to do.
  19. Let’s wait for @messi11 ‘s seal of approval before jumping into any would be transfers.
