  1. My god that was hideous if we don’t beat Spurs on Sunday after the players all took the evening off then we have no excuses tie isn’t over even if we are now at home second leg , Chelsea , Manure and Newcastle have shown the way to beat us at VP lately
  2. was a good day for documentaries last night , Why Planes Vanish , (mainly about MH370) was also interesting long story short is some armchair detective seems to have found a way to pickup whispers in Short wave radio bursts caused by planes passing through them and using that data , has located the wreckage as being slightly outside the zone that search and rescue ships were looking in .. and more importantly he claims to have it down to something like a 30 mile search radius If , they can validate his research , then they may well go take another look
  3. The Titan sub thing yesterday was interesting , but boy are they dragging it with 2 episodes .. problem watching it with hindsight is we know they were dead in minutes after the event , so dragging it out speculating on what they did for 50 hours trapped in a submersible that was bolted shut , is a little pointless and also very claustrophobic
  4. I always forget what's happened previously if I do it that way ... I have to wait for the whole series then binge it over 2 to 3 days its a nightmare when they get to something like season 5 as I have to re-watch 1 -4 first !! its strange really as my memory itself is really really good , my mates always say if I get Alzheimer's they are all **** as I'm the one that remembers everywhere we've been and things we've done
  5. goes without saying I'm not a Doctor , but it could be worth asking yours about Propranolol instead of Sertraline ? Propranolol is a beta blocker but kinda similar to Sertraline , but maybe with no side effects like you are experiencing (in some case people get prescribed both)

    Smart Watches

I'm on O2 with an apple watch .. to have the watch 4G /5G enabled for data is a premium , but if its paired to your phone it just uses the phone data ..long as you have your phone with you of course ..I'd assume Galaxy watches work in the same way ? When I'm in the gym , I leave my phone in the locker downstairs , calls were still come through so now I have to remember to switch Bluetooth off on my phone so I don't receive them ... the range on the pairing is actually quite impressive
  7. I watch it through my sky box and if I skip intros on some shows it buffers terribly it’s random though so might be down to what the kids are streaming on their phones etc at that time
  8. I'm sure it has bin Dunne but ... Mrs H29 suffers from these Whenever I want sex , she has a migraine
  9. I did a repeat prescription last night via the NHS App , has your nominated chemist on it where you go and pick it up from and just a couple of clicks ... I'd guess that's available to everyone ? presumably 28 days is so you don't get 6 months worth in one go and flog them on E-Bay
  10. just to follow on from this , I had a call just now from the Radiology department at my local hospital as she had requested an ultrasound to check for gallstones as it was something else she felt could be at play I think its only my toe nails now that she hasn't requested a check on
  11. Pending my endoscopy the gastroenterologist I saw suggested Alflorex in the first instance .. I'll be honest I was surprised he suggested something like that , i thought the whole probiotic and good bacteria stuff was just marketing companies at work .. it does seem to have helped a little , though it can take 12 weeks or so to fully balance with your body its not expensive so could be worth checking it out , they do more than one so look for the dual action version
  12. yeah I was thinking about your experience as in some ways its similar to mine ( all be it different symptoms) .. it took me my third doctor before I got someone to take it seriously ( second one asked me if I was after a sick note for time off work ) .. Don't know how many doctors there are at your local surgery , but maybe work your way through all of them until you get one that comes up with a thorough plan to investigate your symptoms
  13. so a month on and some progress , my GP was brilliant , she listened to me , couldn't rule out the heart or the stomach so got me down for extensive tests on both couple of weeks back I had an Ultrsound & MRI on my heart and then wore a heart monitor for 7 days ...got the call today from all the tests all clear , actual words were your heart is very strong and in top condition , no furring in the arteries or anything , told me keep up the exercise and stay healthy .. I also had an endoscopy last week and they found a hiatus hernia during this , which interestingly in some instances can manifest in a way that appears like a heart attack , should be curable via medication , just waiting on results from the stomach biopsies they took though to be sure Was nauseas , sick and all over the place yesterday , so not fully out the woods , but it would suggest that a cure isn't far away for me now and I can hopefully get back to a normal lifestyle ... come a long way from the first doctor who told me to park my ego and accept I was getting old and thus I shouldn't expect to be able to run at a high intensity without feeling out of breath and nauseas
  14. Didn’t @Awol tell us that about 2 years ago ?
  15. Never in doubt for a while that looked like the United game the other week where we should have won comfortably and lost , but this time we got out of jail when we stopped giving the ball away and ventured forward again Spurs is the big one , they play a bit rather than kick bite and hoof , so that should suit us more than today
  16. I was racking my brain for something I wouldn't do again , and your post has reminded me Light Sambuca's in my mouth .. always seemed fun when i was younger , more so when you got it wrong and lost some of your eyebrows and fringe , but looking back lighting something in your mouth and swallowing it was probably never a good idea tbf though it was hardly bucket list material , as per title of thread
  17. He’s on the Apprentice you’re fired tonight His introduction mentioned he used to be CEO of Aston Villa and added Liverpool almost as an afterthought
  18. just sell him to Man City on 14th June with a relegation clause .. FA relegate City after all charges are proven on June 15th and we buy him back on a 5 year contract ..simples
  19. We used to get one in the pub car park opposite where we worked , cockles and whelks on a Friday FTW couple of years back the BBC were filming one of those house transition shows in the street nearby and had their BBC catering truck in the car park , we sent someone from the office over to ask them for cockles and whelks much to the bewilderment of the BBC crew
  20. Acoustic gig by Cast on Monday night , their new album is pretty decent , lots of earworm songs that really grow on you
  21. I got Rocking in the free world with Jonny Marr and John McEnroe on guitars last time I saw them loads of tickets left for spurs stadium , they definitely over priced the gig
  22. No idea why but just got tickets to see the libertines at Pryzm in Kingston , basically it was sold out in about 30 seconds and I happened to be browsing the site when rickets went live and knew a couple of my mates would want to go so get myself one as well £18 plus a copy of their new album it’s becoming my favourite venue at these prices and close proximity to the bands
  23. I’m not a big F1 fan but Ferrari : Race to immortality on Sky is a fascinating and sad watch , endless stream of death in the pursuit of glory
  24. I’’m aware of the irony in this one but customer satisfaction surveys had an MRI last week and they’ve sent me surveys asking to rate them , going into hospital tomorrow for an endoscopy and they rang me today for a pre check … and then sent me a survey asking to rate how they did its everything now days , how was your bus ride , how was your experience in Greggs today … I bet if you pulled some bird in the pub she’d send you a customer satisfaction survey the next morning
