  1. As you said, hopefully they are sure that it's just an attitude problem. Either way I don't know if it's a good thing to be calling someone out like that publicly. We don't know the circumstances though I guess, and if it gets a reaction out of him & he starts playing well again then great.
  2. Depression, stress, anxiety maybe? Not necessarily things that will have been with him for the past 10 years. If it's an addiction or something more long term then yes you would wonder why it's only becoming a problem now.
  3. Absolutely gutted First season I can remember was the 89/90 season & I loved him. Everything was great for us back then. He will be missed. RIP Graham
  4. Saw them in Birmingham on Monday night with the same set, brilliant gig! I never saw them back in the 90s but they are a great live band. I was surprised how much I enjoyed the set. I was pleasantly surprised that they played 'the great hosannah'! I love that song!
  5. Any singers in here looking to sing with a cover band at all? Just asking on the off chance since our singer just quit the band. Advertising on joinmyband.co.uk and other places isn't working out, people are pretty unreliable on there. We play mostly indie/rock stuff from the 90s onward with a couple of 60s classics thrown in. Only been going a few months so we haven't played any gigs yet but the plan is to make some money though playing as soon as we can.
  6. Anything that takes time away from singing anti-small heath songs, would much rather we sing about our own team!
  7. Thought he played well again yesterday, was winning everything in the air first half. Looked knackered after 60 minutes though, but then again so did the whole team.
  8. I can't believe it, he was one of my heroes as I was growing up… So tragic
  9. Did I hear right yesterday? Holloway after the game saying something along the lines of "Villa need to use Hutton more, when he's galloping forward there's no one better". His crossing was appalling yet again.
  10. Has Hutton still been wearing number 21?
  11. Is this womanizer still here? (I can't believe that one hadn't been done yet!)
  12. Very true, I hadn't thought of it that way. Maybe I'm biased but we also have a nicer colour combination so that helps.
  13. After seeing the hideous efforts for the new spurs kits (once again) & now this monstrosity I'm thinking we are really lucky with our under armour kits!
  14. If it's of African origin (which it looks like it is) then I'm pretty sure it would be pronounced tShibola with a soft t at the beginning… The "Tish-bola" pronunciation probably comes from English people being unable to pronounce it the right way. Whether he himself pronounces it the original way is another thing. Example pronunciation here
  15. I love it personally, so much happier with this than All For One. They will never beat the classics though.
  16. I once saw Teddy Sheringham at Alton Towers… Walked past him & everything. It was every bit as exciting as it sounds.
  17. I'd be more interested in subscribing to AVTV now Jack has gone, he drove me mad the way he always tried so hard to come up with memorable one-liners. They'd always be terrible, like "Villa in wonder-land in sunder-land" & "A curler, a swirler, an absolute pearler…". Also, the entire commentary for Angel's wonder goal vs Chelsea was embarrassing. I'm glad he's gone personally!
  18. I agree, I thought the 14/15 kits were great designs, much better than any of the Under Armour Spurs kits from the last few years IMO. Looking back though I can't say I'm fond of any of the other home kits Macron made for us so lets hope Under Armour can give us something decent.
  19. I've listened to it about 20 times now and I'm still really not sure about it. It's strange, I like the song, I LOVE the guitar in it but I don't know if I like it as a Stone Roses song… It almost sounds more like the Seahorses than the Roses (not that there's anything wrong with The Seahorses, I love their album). I think the thing that disappoints me the most is the drumming, it's sounds so generic & doesn't have Reni's usual character to it. I was hoping for something more intricate from him I guess. Still, I wait to hear the rest of the album & hear how it sounds at the Etihad before giving up on it!
  20. Really shouldn't bother me as much as it does but people who walk into the workroom & leave without closing the door drives me mad… I work at a school and teachers seem to be the WORST!
