i dont really see whats wrong with having a "second favourite team". i like watching arsenal so will always put them on unless villa are on. I wont ever be buying any of their shirts, merchandise or interact with their fans like i do here. I probably wont ever go to any of their games. I want them to smash every team and win the league. Means villa are more likely to finish higher. And obviously want villa to beat them. Dont really see the problem or how its dirty. Liking another team doesnt mean it takes away my love for villa... Doesnt make me any more or less of a fan than any of you guys

If darren bent could score 20+ goals for sunderland im sure he would have scored 40 for Arsenal....not transferable. Giroud offers way more for arsenal than just goals. Benteke isnt better for arsenal setup and would never replace giroud. Goals per game in the league is the same for both of them. giroud linkup play is just worldclass <3 Benteke qualities drop when playing for a side like arsenal

Doesn't sound shit to me. This thread is all kinds of mental! It depends how youre viewing how theyre saying rubbish. You said i was being hyperbole when i said john terry would get destroyed. But people say a player is rubbish or good relative to the team theyre playing for (or the cluster of teams around them). For example: people say sterling is average, but theyre talking about him being average for a top 4/6 team (i disagree with that fwiw, think hes going to become pretty dam good). Its quite clear he is not average when you compare him to every player or teams in the prem. The same people will say grealish is good, because theyre comparing him to villa position (its pretty obviously grealish is not better than sterling atm). One more example: delph. Good player for us, shit for city. if youre taking these opinions in absolute terms, theyre mental....but relative, just slightly mental

common sense shows that anyone who signed for an elite team at age of a teenager and has been a vital part of every season since then isnt rubbish lol Hes been world class parts of his career, whether he is now, is debatable. Theres a tiny metal frame around my laptop where my keyboard case ends. When my laptop is plugged in, this metal frame gives me mini-electric shock/tingly feeling when im touching it.
