Players lacking in confidence is a frequent theme in football but for me, we have a manager lacking in confidence. He's not going to inspire anyone, he should really be left go.

I'd guess we might offer him a contract in the summer but we won't be wasting any money on him. Not a big money contract either, and if he turns it down, no biggie.

What did you actually expect vs world class opposition? He was brought on for potential counter attacking opportunities which never really happened. Is it to much to expect support on a supporters forum? -
Indeed. My interpretation is that he would score goals and is "capable" of playing for any side in the world. I think he's a better player than Dzeko and Balotelli, for example. Perhaps even Costa. The players currently leading the line for last seasons top three. He'll be gone soon, he'll win league titles and we'll miss him. I hope fans from other clubs don't see you comparing Benteke to Costa!
