  1. Why? Just a feeling, really. His stock has never been higher and agents are absolute bells... I just expect the worst in this scenario and I'm not usually negative about things related to villa. The time to leave was the summer, his stock won't stay so high as his injuries mount all season.
  2. Was never any doubt, the most likely of the 4 contract situations to be resolved. Hopefully gives him a performance boost.
  3. How could he be fit? Is Lambert just lying?
  4. Delph isn't handling this to well, needs to be very careful.
  5. Switzerland are a fairly serious test despite not actually having the reputation. England should be happy with a draw.
  6. I think it's not even open. Opens about a week after the transfer windows closes.. Free agents also cannot be signed after the end of October. Not sure about that one though.
  7. He would not inspire any confidence, I don't even think he will be up to the standard.
  8. For all the hype and money spent, IMO, that was a poor window for them. No senior centre back brought in is ridiculous, absolute insanity.

Maybe if Falcaos' knee falls off. Otherwise... I do think Welbeck will surprise but not that much.
  10. They are skilful players but Bruce won't know what to do with them. Very limited manager.

I think Welbeck is a good player and Wenger can improve him. It's also going to be a permanent deal. No price mentioned yet.
  12. Borini for 10 million and Sandro for 6 million. Absolutely swimming in debt, but no chairman can resist Arry eh?! What is this MADNESS?
  13. Because loaning him out would give him game time so would attract more potential buyers? He has 12 months on his deal, a loan isn't going to put his price up or attract interest that is beneficial to Man United. United might go for a loan but it would need to be with sizable fee because a loan would effectively be giving him a free. Fair point. Didn't realise he only had a year left. They had to pay a fee for Gareth Barry in the summer, it was part of the agreement. I can see Cleverley going to Everton but it'll be done very late with United insisting that Everton pay up the 8million at the end of the season if Cleverley joins. Sure that would be just ridiculous.
  14. Everton's defence is creaking I think so could do with fresh blood there. Stoke would be looking for 15m though so not sure Everton will pay that. Shawcross along with Cahill is the most consistant English centre half around. Madness he never gets a call up. Can only be down to the London press after the Ramsey challenge. £8 million is the price.
  15. Swapping United's bench for RM's B team? This guy needs to get real, he either needs to move to a shit league like Eredivisie or the Primiera or accept his fate at a mid table team like Stoke or WHU. He is no way near good enough. He's lost his form and confidence but he tore the place up in his first season.

The last thing they need is more competition in midfield. Its at the back and up front where they are weak. He's world class and would be the main man. He wouldn't be 'competition' he'd be the first name on the teamsheet. Exactly, Wenger is loyal to Wilshire, Rosicky and Arteta but Fabregas is on another level and it's the kind of ruthless decision that is needed. Linked to William Carvalho all summer but they won't go out and pay the money for exactly what they need.

Wenger loves wilshire, he's not going anywhere. If I was an Arsenal fan I'd be so frustrated with Arsene. There's a huge difference between having the numbers and having the quality. They have went all out for Khedira and a big striker. Khedira and Balotelli were nearly done deals at different times and then they're just dead. If they genuinely want to win the league, Arteta, Sanogo and Rosicky are not good enough.
