What did you actually expect vs world class opposition? He was brought on for potential counter attacking opportunities which never really happened. Is it to much to expect support on a supporters forum? -
Indeed. My interpretation is that he would score goals and is "capable" of playing for any side in the world. I think he's a better player than Dzeko and Balotelli, for example. Perhaps even Costa. The players currently leading the line for last seasons top three. He'll be gone soon, he'll win league titles and we'll miss him. I hope fans from other clubs don't see you comparing Benteke to Costa!

They're defence is good individually but they're not playing as a unit and like Arsenal their midfield allows them to be exposed too often.

With Sturridge out they only have one attacking player in form but the real problem is that Gerrard is finished completely. Passing to him is like slowing down time.
