I think Lewis will beat Taylor today and Thornton can beat Waites. Both are underdogs .

Taylor v Lewis ( over 26.5 legs) =8/11. It is first to 16 and I doubt either will win by 5 legs.

Taylor to get over 6.5 180s =11/10. In what should be about 30ish legs Taylor should get 7 at least.

Hghest checkout Lewis = evens.

Bucks Bond has fallen due to lack of concentration, not via constant bad jumping. There's a difference. The Blinkers should make him concentrate more. He's won at the course on soft ground in Feb and Nicholls said he's done intensive schooling with him since his fall last time. If he concentrates and doesn't fall his current handicap mark is very attractive, he's a proper stayer and this trip will suit.

Few bets for Mondays Races

2:10 Leicester - Doubletoilntrouble £ 20 @ 3/1 - Ran some fine races last term at up to 25f, but has been well beaten on his 3 runs at 27f and further as he just doesn't stay that far. Dropped back to 23f for this.

2:40 Leicester - Ashdown Lad £10 @ 10/1 - Given a possibly stiff opening mark of 120 for win at Plumpton 2 weeks ago. But in all 3 starts he's been staying on and looks one to improve for step up in trip and also for experience. Seems over priced on his handicap debut. * Edit: My mistake, race isn't over 2m4f I wouldn't back now if I hadn't placed the bet

1:20 Pumpton - Uxizandre £32.50 @ Evens -  Backed this horse when winning over course and distance a few weeks ago, he made a terrible mistake at the 2nd last and I'd said if he can somehow win this he's a very good horse indeed. He won and he is a quality horse. Should win this well imo.

2:20 Plumpton - Beforeall £20 @ 5/2 - Ran a good race on his chasing debut over a trip too short at Towcester. Will improve for the run and step up in trip and is taken to go in here

Also put £10 on a treble with those above bar Ashdown Lad.
