He lost complete financial control with MON, he hired incompetent managers and cut costs drastically after making consistent mistakes. He gambled with the future of the club in January windows and stopped communicating with fans while we broke club records. He also failed in the NFL funnily enough. Why anyone wants to defend him is beyond me. How can anyone who has experienced the last 4 years bring themselves to defend the man who caused it? 8 years, hundreds of millions spent and worse than when he came in. When people talked about the 'plan' I said it was to survive on the cheap until sold. Who was right? When people loved the business we did during lamberts first window and I questioned it who was right? During the first few years of lerner I was as positive as anyone could be but my views will depend on what's happening and not on my love for individual managers and owners based on who they replaced.
