Wisconsin electors have been receiving death threats and are escorted by extra security and are casting their votes in a undisclosed location due to security concerns.

U.S.A! U.S.A! U.S.A!

How does this benefit Trump?  Or am I missing something.

It's giving 2 fingers to the state apparatus.

E.g., many members of the previous administration talked about having Assange and Snowden murdered.

One a journalist the other a political dissident. You lot in the UK have plenty to hang your heads in shame about over this.

I'm confused (and admittedly I only skipped through it) but what is that video meant to convey?

It seemed like an unhinged rambling YT video but I couldn't even get the thrust of what it was going for.

That this is all staged and only TOTO (2020) went and looked behind the curtain.

You quite sure? Under the Obama administration, the Justice Department decided not to indict as it couldn't find any evidence that Assange had done anything different to a journalist. It was the Trump Administration in particular, Pompeo and Sessions that pushed the pursuit of Assange.

Assange is the medium the Russians used to pass on intel on the Clintons.

That and Trump could actually be worried about what might come out in any trial.

Anyway, I predict that Assange will suddenly not be as ill as he was yesterday

U.S. sanctions Turkey over purchase of Russian defense system

The United States on Monday imposed sanctions on Turkey over its purchase of Russian ground-to-air defenses and targeted the top Turkish defense development body, its president and three employees.

The move, while focused on the defense sector, including Turkey’s Defence Industries Directorate (SSB), has drawn a condemnation from NATO-ally Ankara and is likely to further strain Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan’s relations with Western allies.

Ankara acquired the Russian S-400 ground-to-air defenses in mid-2019 and says they pose no threat to NATO allies. Washington disagrees and has long threatened sanctions, and last year removed Turkey from an F-35 jet program.

The U.S. measures announced on Monday under the Countering America’s Adversaries Through Sanctions Act (CAATSA) would be enacted by U.S. President Donald Trump as President-elect Joe Biden prepares to take office on Jan. 20.

You are re-writing history.

Real policy.

This is some of the meat and drink living in the NDAA pushed through congress with veto proof majorities. Kinda funny really, because if Trump did this on his own, he'd be accused of endangering NATO, whereas now the story will be how the Russians are being countered. Both points are true in a grown up discussion of things, but partizan politics is the order of the day.

It also includes measures prohibiting any fed dollars being used to remove troops from Germany or Afghanistan. Yay, democracy.

There is no evidence to support that claim and significant evidence showing the Clinton material was removed from that server via physical media.

Best have a word with Assange's lawyer then, that's Assange's own defence in court

Legal arguments concern what happened. Not what would have happened had the UK jackboots not intervened.
