Stevo985 Posted September 4, 2012 VT Supporter Share Posted September 4, 2012 John Coffee. CoffeY You know, like the drink. Only not spelt the same Green Mile is one of the best book adaptations I've ever seen, in that they have been so true to the book (which is really excellent, highly recommend it). Hardly anythign is changed to compromise for film. It's one of my favourite films. Duncan played that role brilliantly. No surprise that that's the role that everyone remembers. mjmooney Posted September 4, 2012 VT Supporter Share Posted September 4, 2012 Yeah, I suppose Green Mile is the big one that I never got around to. TBH I'm not the biggest fan of prison movies (unless they are starring James Cagney, obviously). I thought Shawshank was rather overrated, for example. colples
Picked up the book on holiday and thought 'I don't like Stephen King'. Couldn't put it down ( I know that's a cliche buts its true) In the top five books I have read. Loved the film as well.
