CarewsEyebrowDesigner Posted March 15, 2012 Author Posted March 15, 2012 But when the water rises? . should be alright
legov Posted March 15, 2012 Posted March 15, 2012 I have very simple tastes. I would have a small but well-designed studio apartment over any overrated chateau anyday.
mjmooney Posted March 15, 2012 VT Supporter Posted March 15, 2012 The inside would probably look something like this (Nigella Lawson included as standard):
Houlston Posted March 15, 2012 Posted March 15, 2012 I cant think of much worse than Nigella Lawson cluttering up any room in my house bar the kitchen (and thats not a sexist thing either just a profession one).
chrisp65 Posted March 15, 2012 Posted March 15, 2012 first one is in s.e. london and currently for sale second is on Fleet Street (do apartments count?) black or white, london, art deco, that's me happy
villaajax Posted March 15, 2012 Posted March 15, 2012 This one. Top of Station Road #someonehadtosayit And with McLeish's continuing reign of terror, you could awlays just draw the curtains on match day.
Stevo985 Posted March 15, 2012 VT Supporter Posted March 15, 2012 I know exactly where I'm going. When I win dee olympics and become famous, I'm gonna leave da island... and live right down dere.
jonno_2004 Posted March 15, 2012 Posted March 15, 2012 Would definitely be this one atm - about 2 minutes walk from work too. I imagine my preference will change with time though.
CI Posted March 15, 2012 Posted March 15, 2012 Aston Hall for me I'd put a fence around it with a gate backing onto the Holte It would make Saturdays so much easier

PieFacE Posted March 15, 2012 VT Supporter Posted March 15, 2012 I'd love a nice luxury apartment in the middle of New York.

At least you didn't pick the one overlooking Tesco car park! This is for sale at the moment: I'm reliably informed that it has a secret room under the swimming pool that was used for some fairly interesting parties by its previous owner. (Who is currently involved in some less pleasant games during a six stretch in the Jurby Hilton!)
villaajax Posted March 15, 2012 Posted March 15, 2012 There is a house just down the road from me which is very nice, Burt Reynolds was apparently interested in buying it a long time ago.
jonno_2004 Posted March 15, 2012 Posted March 15, 2012 Actually, stuff my original choice - I'll go with that one. Looks like it's already been sold though!
Risso Posted March 15, 2012 Posted March 15, 2012 Actually, stuff my original choice - I'll go with that one. Looks like it's already been sold though! It's Africa House, previously owned by Trevor Baines, he of the money laundering conviction. I think it's just been bought by a bloke called Raj who owns Unwins offies.
maqroll Posted March 15, 2012 Posted March 15, 2012 Oceanfront cottage in Down East Maine French chateaux in Provence A modest spread in the Virgin Islands with a sea view That'll do for now...
maqroll Posted March 15, 2012 Posted March 15, 2012 Hmm, I forgot the Austrian Alps....something cozy up there, too.
