Pongotastic Posted March 14, 2012 Posted March 14, 2012 Ouch  Still have to play United, Citeh, Liverpool, Spurs, Arsenal and Chelsea. You don't get much better than evens on them staying up but must be a worthy bet. Might stick 20 quid down.
VillaGoMarching Posted March 14, 2012 Posted March 14, 2012 Farewell Sparky Mark. Think he's overplayed his managerial ability this time.
dudevillaisnice Posted March 14, 2012 Posted March 14, 2012 It's not looking good for them is it, they spent quite a bit in the market aswell on Zamora etc.
The_Rev Posted March 14, 2012 Posted March 14, 2012 Yeah, people have been talking about it for a while now. They still have to play seven of the top eight, which also includes an in form Sunderland. This suggests two things, firstly they wont get many points between now and the end of the year because of who they have to play and of course, it highlights the fact that they have had all of their "easy" games and have been too shit to get anything out of them. Nailed on for relegation if you ask me.
LondonLax Posted March 14, 2012 Posted March 14, 2012 They will probably go on a run and stay up now everyone has comprehensively written them off!
TrentVilla Posted March 14, 2012 Moderator Posted March 14, 2012 I think the bottom 3 is pretty much decided now, it will be Wolves, Wigan and QPR the rats are just fighting to see which one is stepping on which head as they sink.
CarewsEyebrowDesigner Posted March 14, 2012 Posted March 14, 2012 I can't stand QPR, I hope they get relegated.
Voinjama Posted March 14, 2012 Posted March 14, 2012 Bolton and Blackburn are not out of it. But with the players blackburn have they should not be down there anyway. Would have about 5 of their players at VP:
nobler Posted March 14, 2012 Posted March 14, 2012 Usually it's too difficult to predict who'll be relegated at this stage of the season, but I can't see past Wigan, Wolves and QPR. Blackburn and Bolton will be fine, imo. Bolton are woeful but they have the fixtures to put something together.
Zatman Posted March 14, 2012 Posted March 14, 2012 west ham had tough run-in in 2007 so possible but really hope they go down. Lost respect for hughes after tevez incident though nobody be tougher than osasuna in 08/09 needing 6 points to stay up had Real Madrid and Barcelona and won both
Demitri_C Posted March 14, 2012 Posted March 14, 2012 so do people think we are out of the woods then?? i think we need to win another two games
nobler Posted March 14, 2012 Posted March 14, 2012 I'm the biggest pessimist in the world. However, I just cannot see Wigan, Wolves, QPR (or Bolton) getting to 33 points and us not picking up anything from now till the end of the season. They would all have to go on runs which they haven't got close to all season and current form suggests it's very unlikely. 35 points will almost certainly be enough.
legov Posted March 14, 2012 Posted March 14, 2012 I'm the biggest pessimist in the world. Bet ten quid you're not. I'm so pessimistic, I don't think I would even win that bet
hogso Posted March 14, 2012 Posted March 14, 2012 Worse team I've seen this year (and they still took points off of us...), so would be happy to see them go. Said they same about Blackburn last year, but would actually quite like them to stay up this time around. Wolves/Wigan/QPR down.
irreverentad Posted March 14, 2012 Posted March 14, 2012 There was something I read about the likes of Barton, Zamora, Wright phillips etc no having relegation wage reduction clauses in their contracts. That is gonna hurt!
ryanvilla_1994 Posted March 14, 2012 Posted March 14, 2012 Hope they go down, really dislike Mark Hughes.
dudevillaisnice Posted March 14, 2012 Posted March 14, 2012 Wow really? hahaha painful.. they best hope they stay up.
itdoesntmatterwhatthissay Posted March 14, 2012 Posted March 14, 2012 Hope they go down, really dislike Mark Hughes. I don't mind Hughes apart from his belief that he didn't need to earn his reputation and is good enough to pick and choose jobs. I hate QPR for what they did to Warnock and that's why I want them down. After watching their documentary it's clear they haven't really learnt that much.
03butpau Posted March 14, 2012 Posted March 14, 2012 Apparently their new players have no contract clauses stating that their wages will be dropped if they go down. If so this means they will have the likes of barton and zamora on 100 and 80k a week. For this reason I hope they go down!
TrentVilla Posted March 15, 2012 Moderator Posted March 15, 2012 If QPR do go down I'd imagine there will be a lot of laughter heard from in and around Craven Cottage.
