wedge
Dear oh dear, I'm dreading this, can see it being a cricket score. GK Guzan RB Hutton CB Collins CB Dunne LB Warnock RM Albrighton CM Petrov © CM Bannan LM N'Zogbia CF Bent CF Gabby Subs: Marshall, Clark, Cuellar, Heskey, Delph, Delfouneso, Weimann
Shillzz
My team: I hope Herd can come back in for this. Anyway - Delph out, Bannan in if nothing else. Ideally I think Delfouneso should keep his place, he actually linked up with NZogbia quite well at times yesterday. Arsenal dont have a lot of height, so there's no excuse for playing Heskey. Guzan Hutton Collins Dunne Warnock Herd Petrov Bannan Gabby Delfouneso NZogbia This is the best side I think we can hope for. There's not a lot of point hoping for Cuellar and Clark at CB, with Herd at right back because it won't happen.

claretman
We are going to get dicked. Can we offer them 0-3 without playing?
VT Supporter chappy Posted December 19, 2011 VT Supporter Share Posted December 19, 2011 We are going to get battered so lets just go at them ------------Guzan-------------- Cuellar Clark Dunne Warnock ------------Herd---------------- Marc------Nzog----------Gabby --------Bent-----Fonz---------- Of course we will see the usual defence and we will sit back on a one or two goal deficit, no confidence at all for this one I'm afraid. Mantis
3-0 to Arsenal. They'll have finished the game by half time and we'll come out and defend the 3 goal deficit for the rest of the game. Same old McLeish bullshit.
OnlyOne
0-6 Van Persie (1) Van Persie (12) Gervinho (27) Van Persie (54) Dunne (og 90+1) Dunne (og 90+3)
Shillzz
If any of them could really be bothered, I think there are 4 or 5 clubs out there who could probably hit us for 6. You get the impression in some games that the match is over so early on (Tottenham, Liverpool etc) that the opposition just use the rest of the game to conserve energy and play containing football. Hanky
0-3. Much the same as everyone else. I'd go for... Guzan Cuellar Dunne Clark Warnock N'Zogbia Bannan Petrov Albrighton Gabby Bent However I expect the same as yesterday bar Gabby and Bent (if fit) in for Heskey and Delfouneso. Baalberith
0-4, RvP hat trick. Absolutely no chance whatsoever of getting a point from this game, let alone 3.
rendelc
Im going for 1 -4. We will score first and then Arsenal will proceed to batter us.

CI
Either 0-3 or 0-4, it's too close to call Arsenal may get the Villa backlash and we keep it down to 3 No doubt we'll play some neat little triangles in our own half between the 85-93 mins Go Alex !! barry'sboots
Got to go 4-3-3 or they will have the same space in CM as Liverpool's 3 did on Sunday. We only ever get results against Arsenal and Liverpool when we do not play 4-4-2. I would go: ----------------- Guzan ------------------ Hutton -- Cuellar -- Dunne -- Warnock ------------ Clark or Herd --------------- OR maybe both to give us a chance if the ref doesn't spot this? ---------------------- Bannan ------------ ----------- Stan --------------------------- Marc ----------------------------- The Zog ------------------- Gab --------------------
dudevillaisnice
0-6 Van Persie (1) Van Persie (12) Gervinho (27) Van Persie (54) Dunne (og 90+1) Dunne (og 90+3) Brilliant I think we'll lose .. 4-0 to them comfortable victory.
pacbuddies
0-0 And then the referee blew the whistle to signal the start of the game.
Villaboy69
Arsenal to stroll into a 3 goal lead before deciding to pass us to death in the 2nd half whilst no of our players get out our own half other than to chase clearances for dunne and collins. Retire to the pub and plan where to go before the stoke game and decide what colours our banner will be
VT Supporter Rodders Posted December 19, 2011 VT Supporter Share Posted December 19, 2011 0-5. we can get 3-0 though if we use our subs up straight away and then feign injury on 5 players.
flamingsombrero
The only way we aren't getting hammered is if the headline currently on the BBC website, "Villa to miss rest of the season", isn't actually about David.
