kurtsimonw
If Ambro plays like he did in the 1st leg, MvB won't be missed, but I'm not sure he can put up that kind of performance again. Not fussed about Pato being in the squad, he's been toss in every game but about 1 this season.
dudevillaisnice
Yeah think Barcelona will win as they'll step it up a few gears and plus they are at home. Think the pitch will help them too.
Stevo985 Posted April 2, 2012 VT Supporter Share Posted April 2, 2012 Was gonna say, if Ambrosini can put another performance like that in then missing MVB might be a blessing in disguise. Ambrosini also offers more going forward than Van Bommel, so if it gets to a stage where Milan need to score (which you imagine it very well could) then he may well be the better choice. kurtsimonw
Yeah, I'd certainly fancy Ambro in the air against Barca!
lapal_fan
Been thinking, is it better to score early or later in these types of games.. I can't make my mind up. If you score early, you can threaten with the counter, but if you risk scoring late, it's harder for the home team to grab a goal in less time, but you can't see Barca NOT scoring at some point.. AVFC-Prideofbrum
Is the right back out again? Abate is it? I like him.
kurtsimonw
He's back I think. Though he's not having his greatest season defensively. I wish Silva was playing.
lapal_fan
Abate's much better at defending than attacking this season. His crossing has been poor, but he can improve with games, hopefully.
kurtsimonw
I think his defending has been shocking this season. Awful positioning and that mistake against Inter..

Rino8 Posted April 3, 2012 Visiting Supporter Share Posted April 3, 2012 I think his defending has been shocking this season. Awful positioning and that mistake against Inter.. :shock:He's made a few, pretty uncharacteristic of him but when he hasn't made a mistake he's been good. He was the only player along with Mexes to come away from The Emirates with his pride.

kurtsimonw
Threw away a 1-0 lead against a crap Fiorentina team to lose 2-1. A win for Juve tonight and they go top. Roma won 5-2 last week, lost 4-2 this week. La Liga football in Serie A FTW/L.
Rino8 Posted April 7, 2012 Visiting Supporter Share Posted April 7, 2012 4-2? I checked at around the 75th minute mark and it was 4-0 Shite from Milan, this Fiorentina team are toothless too.
