NulliSecundus
I don't blame Lambert for what he did. Darren proved his point by scoring not spouting to the media and ironically, Lambert re-iterated his point when bent came off the bench to score. On the last game you'd have to start Gabby and Bent, wouldn't you?
benireduk
Anyone else seen this? http://m.youtube.com/index?desktop_uri=%2F&gl=GB#/watch?v=7CSxSvIuibA At least he's got a sense of humour!

Gabby has played well since he's come back but Weimann has done most things right but score and he's been unlucky not to on a few occasion's. CI
I would actually leave Bent on the bench again today, and expect a better reaction. Can't have ANY player undermining the manager.

Dr_Pangloss
I still struggle to see where Bent would go. He ain't top 4 material so that leaves who? QPR as the only other team that could feasibly afford him. We'd be looking to recoup the vast majority of what we paid for him after all.
Mantis
Love how ruthless Lambert is . Dropping Bent last week was ruthless. Dropping him again this week is stupidity I fear.
AVFCforever1991
It remains to be seen whether this was a good move or a stupid move. If Benteke performs then it was a good move, if he flops then it was a stupid move.
Brumerican
Dropping Bent last week was ruthless. Dropping him again this week is stupidity I fear. If Bent had kept his opinions to himself then I would agree but he didn't and Lambert is in charge not Bent . You can't go sulking to the press and undermining the manager regardless of how many goals you score .

The press just asked him questions and he asnwered them.
