... just yesterday he said he wouldnt be leaving Everton.

And its not up to Moyes. He has until next summer on his contract and if the Everton board dont want to lose him, they will just say 'No you cant talk to him'.

They are still pretty close to the relegation scrap, and three points against us, or anyone else, will proberly be enough. Hes not going to say anything different :winkold:

I guess it depends what his ambition is, and whether hes willing to wait around and see if the club are sold.

In fairness, he's saying all the right things and was even magnanimous to a degree over the Dunne and Collins issue.

Talk is cheap, of course. And whether he's reading from a pre prepared script, I'm not sure. But for the first time in a long while he sounds like he actually (a) realizes the stature of the club he is (fortunate to still be) managing and (B) realizes the gravity of the situation

Unlike some, I think Everton is an eminently winnable game, particularly with the amount of injuries they have (sound familiar?)

He needs to start earning his corn though, and get the players all pulling in the right direction. Do that, and we'll be safe this year.

David Moyes was rather complimentary of Houllier and Villa in his press conference. Said something like he fully expects us to beat the drop as we have great attacking quality.

Let the conspiracies begin.

When have you ever seen opponent managers criticise other managers about their job?
