dont_do_it_doug.
VILLA: Friedel; Walker, Dunne Collins, Clark; Albrighton, Makoun, Petrov, Downing; A Young; Bent. No real complaints, quite an attacking set up. A gamble in a way, but to win the lottery you have to buy a ticket.
RMB
Paddypower offering 8/1 Villa win. Is it worth me taking the 6/1 with bets refunded if its a draw? Or be greedy and go for 8's? Ahhh
johndunse
Not half bad - nice and attacking, Gabby to come on after an hour to rip Vidic apart. Ideal! Come on Albie, 22/1 first goal!!!
dont_do_it_doug.
4-4-2, this should be interesting... 4-4-1-1 surely? I expect Reo Coker to be off the bench at some point regardless.

dont_do_it_doug.
Carrick and Fletcher can be dominated, glad we've gone with Petrov and Makoun now. Good match up that, should Makoun play to his potential.
bose
No Bannan on the bench? I thought he played a blinder vs. Blackburn?
Shillzz
Can never, ever guess Houllier's selections, kudos to anyone who has done this time.
GeorgeVilla82 Posted February 1, 2011 VT Supporter Share Posted February 1, 2011 Quite like the look of that team, but would like to see Gabby given a run against Vidic. Vidic tends to have a nightmare when dealing with Gabby.
OutByEaster? Posted February 1, 2011 Moderator Share Posted February 1, 2011 3 strikers on the bench. No place for Bradley, Bannan or Delph on there but still room for old man river. Grrr. Still, the first eleven is decent and positive - I'd always like to see Gabby start against these as he puts the fear into Vidic but this'll do. maqroll
The pressure is on United, IMO. I can see us nicking this one again. 2-1, Villa Bent, Downing Berbatov
jonno_2004
I think that, with the exception of Cuellar, is our best team.
Delphouneso
bringing Gabby on for the last 20-30 minutes against a tired Vidic could be lethal. be interesting to see how Walker & Albrighton cope with Nani, gonna be a tough game. confident of a win as always though. uncy_chris
Utd's team looks pretty strong. Not expecting a result, but still put a quid on Aberdeen and villa to win tonight. If that happens, £60 in the bank.
switters
Good that it's O'Shea rather than Rafael - should alternate Downing/Young/Albrighton on him and give him as torrid time as possible, 'cause he's not the fastest and Nani doesn't give much defensive help. Heskey, Fonz and Gabby all on the bench means we have plenty to throw at them later on, if needs be.
