He was an aid worker aswell, going over there to help and he end up like this.

RIP David Haines, a brave man.

I thought the same but think he was also ex RAF so they will try and use that as justification I'm sure.

Not sure they care about justification. Journo, aid worker, doctor, whatever, it's propaganda intended to boost recruitment of radical muslims in my opinion.

As the poster boy for the lunatic fringe, I reckon it's more than likely that dear John will meet a sticky end - Hopefully his raging homosexual cellmate's sticky end, but it'll more likely be a bullet in the head sometime before sunrise.

Religion of peace.

I'd just like to let you know that this isn't Islam, these are barbaric creatures who aren't even following the religion.
Where then is the outrage from the muslim community? They are on the streets in there thousand's the minute someone draws a cartoon but after every such barbaric act all we get is 'this isn't Islam'

Action's speak louder than words and at the moment I don't see the Muslim community doing anything to root out these "few idiots" running around in the name of Islam.

Isis terror threat: Leading British Muslims issue fatwa condemning terror group

By ZACHARY DAVIES BOREN

Sunday 31 August 2014

Muslim leaders have issued a fatwa condemning Islamic extremist group Isis, and have said that British jihadis are “betraying their own societies” by getting involved in the conflicts in Iraq and Syria.

The fatwa represents the British Muslim community’s strongest denunciation of Isis yet, calling the extremist group “heretical” and “an oppressive and tyrannical group.”

According to The Sunday Times, the fatwa, authored by Sheik Usama Hasan, a former imam from east London, and supported by six senior Islamic scholars across the country, says it is “religiously prohibited (haram) to support or join” Isis.

Though Muslims have a “moral obligation” to help the Syrian and Iraqi people, they must do so “without betraying their own societies,” the fatwa states.

Baroness Warsi, former Foreign Office minister: “These are substantial figures and I welcome this announcement. The Islamic State is neither a state nor Islamic. I echo the words of these religious leaders.”

read that the other week and was quite surprised but there is way more to be done than just condemning whats going on, plus i dont trust it as ive saw muslim clerics condemning stuff then you see film footage of them praising terrorist attacks.

Not exactly the same level of outrage shown at harmless cartoon is it mate?

Guess some things are just more important to them.

totally right, but we really need the muslim world to properly turn against isis but i cant see it happening. its a funny old situation out there and it needs sorting asap.

Without boots on the ground, I can't see Isis going away any time soon. Arming the Kurds has stopped them advancing into Kurdistan, but beyond that, very little has changed.

I don't know where those boots will come from, however, seeing as UK & USA will not get involved so heavily after getting out not so long ago.

USA be like
