Us as fans frankly don't care about paying over the odds for a player as long as the chairman is happy to do so. What we care about this season is staying up, and then next season pushing on and challenging in the correct half of the league again. You can give us the facts and your opinion all you like, and if you feel we overpaid, then say congratulations to your club for milking us for every penny. You won't change (the majority) of our minds though, we are happy to finally get someone in who can find the net. Now just good luck using that money wisely to replace him.
