What happened with MON's odds shortly before he came here?

Cant remember but when I got my tip off I got 5-1 or 6-1 iirc

Paddy Power have suspended betting on the whole market right now, though Ladbrooks remain open and still offer 3-1

Paddypower now has Moyes at evens to take the job. Think there is more to this than a few people throwing a few quid at it, after a 1 second hand shake. :)

Give over about odds, eh? :winkold:

Haha made me smile.

I'm surprised it's actually taken someone a number of hours before noticing.

What I meant was that did his odds suddenly plummet just before he was announced as manager? Kind of like how his odds plummeted of being sacked hours before he resigned.

I've just read on one link that some guy said an Irish connection to players rang him & told him to put as much as he could afford

on Moyes joining Villa... so it's not just handshake & twitter rumours. APPARENTLY.

It's all very odd but I've decided I'm going to refuse to beleive it until it happens.

Moyes has been at Everton for 7 years. Maybe he feels like he has taken them as far as he can and fancies a new challenge. Everton are a very well run club but financially they are not great and are always selling their best young players. We offer a little more stability as, even though we sold Milner, we still have a fairly wealthy owner.

As others have said Moyes won't manager Man Utd as he is not a massive name, that job will have to be Mourinho's.

Besides how often does a rival teams manager bump into our Chairman and give a friendly completely suspicion free handshake?

This one may actually have legs but as always with Villa we won't find out until it's a done deal.
