Maybe, all this debate is now pointless though. Time to get the shit together and sort ourselves out.

What a shame that wasn't offered by Gordon and his cronies when the 'global financial crisis' became apparent.

You never know, he might still be in number 10 sitting on a comfortable majority now.

One dead cert of Con/Lib is the rolling back of Labours stasi state and that is great news for everyone.

ID cards? No thanks, we're British.

Let's hope so, still waiting for Obama to repeal the patriot acts though. These things are not a new govts main focus, slipping down the priority list.

If Gordon Brown always tried to do the right thing I'd hate to see the authoritarian tosser do the wrong thing

This is the bit that amazes me about Labour supporters. Regardless of what may happen next with the next government, they just don't seem to see what a truly insidious bunch have been enacting legislation and taking decisions for the past 13 years. Whatever happens next, I am sure it will be better than what we have had to endure.

Bliar, Brown, Mandelscum, Campbell, Harman, Smith. Jesus, I could type my fingers raw listing names of garbage who should never have got anywhere near sullying our great government and have got the chance to destroy our great nation.

A rotting pox on them all

Excellent, she gave him short shrift!

Indeed, interview without coffee: "Thanks for nothing, now give me the keys and piss orf!"

I just feel sorry for his kids, they're stuck with the word removed.

What vile stuff.

Yes, you are all so complementary about Thatcher but when it's one of your own....

Brown the liar, ruiner and stalinist control is gone and the country is reborn. The next few years will be tough but at least now there is hope.

Cheers VT

Oh and bring back fox hunting. Ban bingo!

Where I disagree is that fact it'll get better, it won't for exactly the reason Gringo gives above, freedoms, once taken away are rarely ever given back

Bloody hell, how can Cameron become Prime Minister? he didn't win the majority which means the majority of the country don't want him.

A rotting pox, as Privateer might say, on him, his party and everyone who voted for them.

I hope Scotland get home rule, I would go there in a shot.

Good stuff.

They have a socialist government and a fair bit of home rule. Why don't you go now?

And while your at it do us all a favour and build that wall back up behind you as you leave, so that you can keep all the bitter twisted Scots in with you.

You mean the inbred German tax dodger who married a Greek? Wouldn't have thought you'd be a fan Awol?

I have no respect for an old crow that thinks she has a right to anything simply because she was born into it. I'm a believer of meritocracy and frankly the fact she is still around takes the piss.

I'd never sink to the level you had though, pathetic.

Yes, starting to realise what Zatmans problem is myself.

Same here, I like Scotland a lot more than England. I'm not fully English, I would hate myself if I were. Scotland the brave :)

I poured myself a nice glass of merlot just before the rocket polisher emerged from Number 10 to toast his demise.

I'll toast Cameron's move into office with the word's of my heroine uttered when South Georgia was liberated.

"Rejoice"!

I'm actually very optimistic that we can get a fine government out of theis arrangement
