Zatman
Wood has looked very good at that level and surprised a PL club didnt take a chance or even WBA keeping him when Lukaku goes back to Chelsea
AVFCforever1991
QPR bid for Diame. Not sure how he is going to pass a medical.
CarewsEyebrowDesigner
Sure, they have money to throw around, but would any player move to QPR when they look doomed to relegation? Unless they have a relegation release clause or something, but Diame is better off staying at West Ham.
Troglodyte Posted December 29, 2012 VT Supporter Share Posted December 29, 2012 Rooney was a much better player with Ronaldo, so I think Fergie would be looking to keep both. Man Utd would need to find the cash, but I can't see them selling Rooney to bring in Ronaldo, it would see the end of Welbeck I'm sure, but if they are looking to bring Ronaldo back it'll be for a front 3 of Ronaldo, Rooney and RVP; there's enough versatility in those 3 to play a variety of styles, and have Hernandez as an impact sub. I agree, I'm just not sure United could afford Ronaldo without selling Rooney. I reckon they'd much rather have the former at the club though, given the choice!
Zatman
think Diame has a release clause of about 4 million which makes him a snip at that level of the league

Zatman
but he probably wanted about 50k a week deal and in last 2 or 3 seasons he did **** all at Wigan to justify it

Troglodyte Posted December 30, 2012 VT Supporter Share Posted December 30, 2012 Debuchy's finally off to Newcastle. Good signing methinks, especially at €6m. Apparently they're hoping to bring Douglas in next month, too. A few on here have said they'd like to see him at Villa.

dudevillaisnice
Newcastle still signing good players. Ba to Chelsea is interesting.. letting Sturridge go and getting Ba in is very good business and if they get Falcao on top of that... Interesting times for everyone but Villa fans . PompeyVillan
Debuchy is a quality player, they seem to have this French connection going on at the moment and getting players for more than reasonable price tags. Also Diame to QPR sound very good to his agent and bank manager. I'd go if I were him, you only have one career, might as well exploit some stupid, filthy rich sod if you can. dont_do_it_doug.
Falcao wont go Chelsea in January, would be a backward step as Atletico have probably more chance to win league than Chelsea. You've lost the plot if you truly believe that.
PompeyVillan
Debuchy to Newcastle leaves Danny Simpson's future uncertain as he's out of contract in the summer. We could do a lot worse, he's better than Lowton at the moment.
Zatman
dont agree he is better than Lowton but i do rate Simpson but i think he rates himself better than most do
