If I was 'spurs' that's exactly what I would say, if I didn't then I wouldnt have much negotiation leverage would I " this deal has got to happen as I have already spent the transfer fee!" I imagine Atletico will just use the Demichellis fee to sign Alderweireld. It's pretty mental that he's going to City though, he only joined Atletico in July. He had a decent World Cup for Serbia in 2010, and Juventus snapped him up. He's just another example of why you don't buy players based on one World Cup.
