Awol
Are people trying to say that the rich don't vote tory in the bucketloads? Or are they trying to say not all tory voters are rich rocket polishers? The last bit - except for Tony, who is of course both.

Condimentalist
So, how many people who have put Lib Dem on here will actually be voting for them on May 6th (or whenever it will be)? Or will people be using the old' they'll never get in' line?
bickster Posted March 22, 2010 Moderator Share Posted March 22, 2010 I would imagine a good 50% of the people who have voted in this poll won't actually make it to the polling booth, regardless of who they are voting for Patrick.
tonyh29
the poll seems to have moved from the last one .. does that mean the BNP voters last time have changed their mind or merely not voted this time around ? As most of the woolly votes will no doubt have come from the VT student brigade I think it'safe to say come election day they will be too busy playing World of Warcraft or sleeping to vote :winkold:

Richard
And now Mrs. Cameron is up the duff. Coincidence? Depends if you think Blair's wife being up the duff when he was in number 10, or the Brown baby news was also a coincidence

Depends if you think Blair's wife being up the duff when he was in number 10, or the Brown baby news was also a coincidenceNeither of those coincided with a general election - so I guess the comparison doesn't hold up to the smallest of examination. Chindie Posted March 22, 2010 VT Supporter Share Posted March 22, 2010 I can see us having two general elections this year, for all those lovers of politics! So can I, Richard. Well, if that happens I'll at least have 1 chance to spoil my ballot. On the contituency front I could vote in either Ceredigion or Perry Barr (why my area is covered as Perry Barr I'm not sure, I suspect it might be a sake of ease thing). The former is effectively a 2 horse race between Lib Dems and Plaid Cymru, neither of which would fill me with much hope, and Perry Barr IIRC is pretty much a Labour safe seat I think, despite the fact that Khalid Mahmood is apparently 'not the brightest spark' in Parliament and seems to happily chirp 'How high!?' when asked to jump by his party.
